Edinburgh Castle and Carlton Hill, about 800 metres away, or the Scottish National Gallery, a 7-
minute walk from the property, are well worth visiting. Edinburgh Grand is a 3-minute walk from
the nearest station and around 12 km from Edinburgh Airport. This area of Edinburgh is one of our
guests' favorites, based on independent reviews. Information about the company The Edinburgh
Grand operated by Lateral City Apartments is the second property in its portfolio, joining Abbey
Strand Apartments at Holyrood and Old Town Chambers-both of which also offer beautiful, five-
star accommodation with the same blend of heritage and contemporary style and elegance.
Acquired by The Chris Stewart Group in 2014, the property has now been carefully restored and
artfully woven into The Edinburgh Grand which opened in June 2018. The redevelopment has
optimised the excellent quality of materials and the subtle elegance of the original building,
restoring many of the features of interiors. The Building has emerged as the city’s most affable
host and continues to honour a seriously impressive and illustrious heritage.
Information about the facility
Located in the beating heart of Edinburgh with Authentic features, including original dark wood
panelling, fireplaces, brass door handles and decorative cornicing have been given a serious

site on which The Edinburgh Grand now stands, was bought in 1825 by the National Bank of Scotland.
By 1848, it had Acquired and expanded into the building immediately adjacent. The building is a
fine example of impressive neoclassical architecture. With wonderful views and a beautiful art
deco banking hall, it served as the headquarters for the National Bank, the National
Commercial, and then the Royal Bank of Scotland, until 2006.

sinister stories that concern in particular the cemeteries

atmosphere. Is the University of Edinburgh the only one in
