•A worldview that can can be attributed to a specific historical moment or period of time– Tied to cultural values, beliefs, practices, and ideol

ogies– Can exist in different realms of a society (e.g.

economic, cultural, religious, political, artistic, etc.)– May shift—subtly or dramatically—over time
