This Year’s Parade of Nations Theme is “In Color we Celebrate Each Other” The Parade of Nations is about sharing your culture and who you are. Culture does not have to be defined by your ancestral background but can also include a place you feel an affinity for. As a participant, you will be committed to expressing your culture through garments whether its contemporary or traditional pieces. We will be using your bios and pictures to represent your cultural identity and history of that identity. Please note you will be providing your own garments. You may ask family and/or friends to help you find some pieces. Also remember, we are looking for modern attire as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the Diversity & Equity Center (DEC) formerly known as CDSJ in SURC 250/253 on the second floor. Student staff will greet you and can answer your questions. You may contact the center at 509-963-2127 or by email, at [email protected]. If you choose to email us, please put in the subject line: Parade of Nations Dress Rehearsal: Wednesday, January 24 th at 6:00 PM in the SURC Ballroom. Notice that this is the day before the show. If you cannot be there please inform one of the Programmers listed below. Parade of Nations is Thursday, January 25 th . Please be at the Ballroom in the SURC at 4:00pm. The show starts at 6:00pm. Welcome to the 13 th ANNUAL Parade of Nations. This Year’s Parade of Nations Theme is “In Color we Celebrate Each Other”
