But if they turn away, then say, “I have warnedyou of a thunderboltlike the thunderbolt(which struck) Aad andThamud.”

When the Messengerscame to them frombefore them and behindthem (saying), “Worshipnone but Allah.” Theysaid, “If our Lord hadwilled, surely wouldhave sent down Angels. So indeed, we disbelievein that with which youhave been sent.”

As for Aad, they werearrogant in the landwithout right and said,“Who is mightier thanus in strength?” Didthey not consider thatAllah createdthem is mightier thanthem in strength? Butthey used to denySigns.

So sent upon thema furious wind duringthe days of misfortuneto make them taste thepunishment of disgracein the life of thisworld. And surely, thepunishment of theHereafter is moredisgracing, and theywill not be helped.

And as forThamud, guidedthem, but they preferredblindness over guidance,so a thunderbolt ofhumiliating punishmentseized them for whatthey used to earn.

Nothing is said to you(O Muhammad SAWS)except what was saidto the Messengers beforeyou. Indeed, your Lordis a Possessor offorgiveness and aPossessor of painfulpenalty.

And if had madeQuran in a foreignlanguage, they wouldhave said, “Why are itsVerses not explainedin detail (in ourlanguage)? Is it a foreignlanguage and an Arab(Messenger)?” Say, “Itis, for those whobelieve, a guidanceand a healing. Andthose who do notbelieve, there isdeafness in their ears, and blindness in their(eyes). Those are(being) called from afar place.”

And indeed, gave Musa the Book, but disputes arosetherein. And had it notbeen for a word thatpreceded from yourLord, surely, it wouldhave been settledbetween them. Butindeed, they are indisquieting doubtconcerning it.

Whoever doesrighteous deeds, then itis for his soul; andwhoever does evil, thenit is against it. Andyour Lord is not unjustto slaves.

Notis saidto youexceptwhatwas said

to the Messengersbefore you.Indeed, your Lord(is) Possessor

And ifWe (had) made ita Quran(in) a foreign (language),hey (would have) said,

“Why notare explained in detailits verses?(Is it) a foreign (language)

and an Arab?”Say,“It (is)for those whobelieve,a guidance
