Thank you for viewing the online portfolio of Paper Flowers. Because we love those we work with, the business names listed are hyperlinked for your convenience. And while we have your attention, we have a few rules, too.Because of this love we have for the people we work with, especially the photographers that make our work look so good, we ask that you not use any of the images in this LookBook without the individual photographer’s consent. We also ask that you not reproduce any of the text in this LookBook, as Kristen spent many o’ nights at her laptop writing these blurbs to paint the entire picture as best she could. If you have any questions about a particular event or just in general, we would love to hear from you.

Paper Flowers consists of two minds that often think alike. One has a love of paper, the other has a love of flowers, but both have an eye for transforming any space.

Armed with glitter guns and a little sass, no task is too big or two small for us to take on. (And we promise – the glitter guns stay in their holsters when on location).

THE FLOWERSMarti has a knack for bringing new life to the old and finding that perfect “something” you never knew you had to have. Her ideas are grandiose and she’ll stop at nothing to find what she needs to complete the look.

THE PAPERKristen is a Graphic Designer, but don’t think she can only design on paper. She’s an out-of-the-box thinker – ordinary is boring. Envisioning the The Big Picture and the logistics of how it all comes together is her kinda thing.

THE ROOKWOOD

The Rookwood saw an opportunity to open the doors to more private events, capitalizing on a historic appeal and one-of-a-kind architectural character. With a venue that is quite impressive, yet heavy and dark, pops of color and pattern were key to highlighting the mixture of wood, brick and metal throughout the restaurant.

A DARK WOODS AFFAIR

The ethereal and enchanted come alive under the stars. As the opening party to the reowned Hermitage Classic, the OMC wanted to keep the table décor muted and simplistic to allow the centerpieces to remain the focal point.

CORK N BOTTLE

A local liquor store was looking to appeal to a more refined market and present a more sophisticated look to the public. A rooftop setting, premium spirits and models within the target demographics allow the marketing pieces to speak to the ideal customer.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Besties – Big Charlotte and Little Charlotte – went back to school this fall and instead of the typical school photos, these two fashionistas wanted to do things their own way. There’s no doubt a few notes will be sent home from the teacher, but when they’re that darn cute, how can you stay mad for long?

SMITTEN MAGAZINE

This styled bridal portrait session, a southern tradition, combined ornate English Renaissance architecture with the very structured design of this BHLDN dress in soft gray. While working in a classic environment and introducing a modern style, a perfectly blended style was produced.

HOLSCHUH / HIGGINS WEDDING

Rain on your wedding day is good luck and Mother Nature was sobbing with joy all morning and afternoon before this outdoor nuptual. The sun peeked out long enough to hold the ceremony under two giant trees and allow guests to enjoy a rustic and charming reception. With the groom traveling from England to marry his bride, there’s not doubt these two will live happily ever after.
