Indian literature in so many regional languages is rich enough to entertain and teach.

In addition to that,a new kind of literature come into existence in the middle of 19th century:Indian Writing In English.

PREJUDICE AGAINST ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Before freedom and during that

freedom movement,there was

narrow nationalism against English

language.

If you love your nation,hate English.

Many national leaders also thought

like this.

On the other hand,many true

nationalist also support this

literature.

pal,Tagore,Aurobindo,etc…

Inshort,Indian writing in English struggled

to get identity.

Today Indian writing in English occupies

a respectable position not only in India

but also in Abroad.

International honor are also gets by our

writers in this literature.
