Garcia - Esteban Foundation is a nonprofit organization, with the intention of contributing to the development and promotion of music in all its facets. Their objectives are promote music, its study and education in all its facets, the promotion of young talents in music, and the contribution through the music in the development of European identity.

It was founded in 2012 by the clarinetist Francisco Antonio Garcia and the pianist Carmen Esteban. They begins its carrer in 1996 and since then they have performed in Spain, France, Holland, Italy, England, Czechoslovakia, Serbia, Argentina, Uruguay, and US. They have played in the most important concert halls like Purcell Room in London, Salle Cortot in Paris, Mozarteum in Buenos Aires or Carnegie Hall in New York.

Environment

Located at 1636 meters above sea level in the heart of the Argonese Pyrenees, is Panticosa Resort, which offers a space of 8,500 m2 dedicated to the healing power of thermal springs and a hotel 4 stars, offering a cuisine very special and a wide range of entertainment options.

 The Spa environment favors any activity related not only to relax and contact with nature but with artistic creativity in all its dimensions.

A little historyThe use of thermal waters Panticosa Resort dates back to Roman times, although the written history of Panticosa Spa begins in the early seventeenth century. In 1826, Don Fernando VII granted to Nicholas Guallart until 1854, when they take over the management his successors.

In 1899, is created the society Panticosa Waters, who lives with the rise of spas in Spain, and is a nationally in hydrotherapy. Declared of National Tourist Interest in 1966, throughout history, have hosted the likes of Spanish King Alfonso XIII, Ortega y Gasset, Canovas del Castillo or Santiago Ramon y Cajal, who spent some time in the spa cures while practicing his hobby , photography.

The music in its various forms has been represented at the Spa for years, along with dances and festivals that are celebrated around the 50 and 60, and through the various musical courses beginning in the decade of the 80, and various concerts that have been held in the Auditorium of the Grand Hotel recently

• Build through the Fundación García-Esteban, the establishment of musical and educational activities in natural environments, and apply the concepts of social and cultural sustainability in the area.

• FESTIVAL: • There will be a Festival with a minimum of 7 concerts given by the course lecturers and guest

artists

• CURSO DE MÚSICA: estimated attendance of about eighty students and fifteen faculty renowned for a week.

• TEACHERS TRAINING COURSE OF MUSIC:  estimated attendance of about thirty students and ten teachers and renowned speakers.

• The capacity of the auditorium of the Grand Hotel where the festival concerts will be held is two hundred tickets. It also have other concert halls, churches and natural areas where offer multiple performances.

• Promoting an area of special interest tourism, cultural, historical and natural, with the objective of making the Panticosa Spa, in a few years as a meeting place of other International Music Festivals:

Wrote Strad magazine upon hearing Cuarteto Casals for the first time, shortly after its inception in 1997 at the Escuela Reina Sofía in Madrid.Since winning First Prizes at the London and Brahms-Hamburg competitions, Cuarteto Casals has been a repeated guest at the world's most prestigious concert halls including Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Musikverein Vienna, Philharmonie Cologne, Cité de la Musique Paris, Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Philharmonie in Berlin, among many others throughout Europe, North America and Japan.Celebrating its 15th anniversary in the 2012-13 season, Cuarteto Casals will perform the rarely heard cycle of 15 quartets of Franz Schubert in cities including Madrid, Florence, London, Lisbon, and Schwarzenberg. The admiration of critics and public reaffirm Enrique Bagaria as one of the prominent names pianistic landscape today.

He began his studies with Rosa Masferrer and Luiz de Moura Castro. He combined studies at L'Ecole Normale Alfred Cortot in Paris, the Liceu Conservatory with S. Pochekin. With D. Bashkirov, Claudio Martínez Mehner and Galina Eguiazarova School of Music Reina Sofia and V. Richard Strauss Suchanov in Konservatorium.Received the same advice from teachers as Alicia de Larrocha, Maria Josep Colom, Elisso Virsaladze, Leon Fleisher, Andrzej Jasinski, Ralph Gothoni, Boris Vitaly Margulis and Petrushnsky.

Throughout his career received numerous awards in piano competitions and Prime Palau, Frechilla-Zuloaga and Principat d'Andorra. Andreas Sunden, clarinet• Andreas Sundén is one of the leading clarinetists from the young generation of

Scandinavian musicians. He is a musician that manages to combine orchestral playing with his ever-increasing solo engagements.

•  •  • Andreas was born in Sweden and started his clarinet studies at The Norwegian

State Academy of Music with professor Hans Christian Braein where he graduated 2001 with top scores. Then followed two years of soloist studies for Hans Deinzer in Italy and after 2003 he was studying regularly for professor Yehuda Gilad, USC.

• He is several times winner of scholarships from Royal Swedish Academy of Music and has been prizewinner in Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition i England (2004) and Ljunggrenska tävlingen in Gothenburg (2001).

• Andreas is an active participant in chamber music and the initiator to Nordic Chamber Soloists which is a flexible chamber music group of leading young musicians from the Nordic countries. Andreas has played at Risør Chamber Music festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Gloppen Music Festival and performed recitals in The Nordic Countries, Germany, England, Italy, Spain and USA. He has given Masterclasses in USA, Japan, China, Korea, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and the Nordic countries.

• His solo appearances include Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Malmö Symphony Orchestra.

• He is currently a clarinet teacher at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Principal Clarinet in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. He also held the Principal Clarinet position in Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra during 4 years and before that the same position in The Norwegian National Opera Orchestra and Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Sweden.

He obtains the Superior Title of Clarinet in the R.C.S. of Music of Madrid and the Doctorate in Soloist and Chamber Music at the Conservatorium of Rotterdam (Holland), with Walter Boykens. He makes postgraduated in the Royal College of Music in London (ARCM) with Michel Collins and Colin Bradbury, being awarded with the prize "Fanny Hughes". He has received advice of Jacques Lancelot, Karl Leister, Walter Boeykens, Antony Pay, Thea King. Principal in the Symphony orchestra "City of Valladolid" and Principal in the Symphony orchestra of Galicia. He has collaborated with the Orchestra of Cadaqués, City of Barcelona, Virtuosos of Moscow, City of Granada, Enigma-Orquesta Group of the Auditorio of Zaragoza, Symphony orchestra of Castilla-Leon.. It gives classes in national and international Courses and Master-Class in diverse Superior Centers. It has given concerts in Spain, Holland, France, Italy and England. As a soloist it has played in important European rooms as the Purcell Room´s in London; Salle Cortot in Paris; Palau of Music in Valencia, Teatro Real in Madrid, Auditorio of Zaragoza, etc. It has made recordings for RNE and recently the recording of  the titled CD "From the 27 to the 51 Recovery of a Modernity" with the pianist Carmen Esteban and "Voces in Ebano" with Modern Ensemble.

It develops an interesting pedagogical work as Professor of Clarinet in the Superior Conservatory of Music of Aragón. Francisco Antonio García has given masterclasses at national and international chamber music courses, and has gone on to perform extensively in recitals throughout most of the major cities in Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and the UK.

He has made a series of recordings for Spanish National Radio and for CD release. In 2008, Francisco Antonio Garcia made his New York Debut recital at Carnegie Weill Hall and he had invited by Internacional Association Clarinet to play in ClariFest 2009 in Oporto (Portugal) and i n Austin (Texas). He plays in Mozarteum of Buenos Aires (Argentica), and Montevideo (Urugay)The critic always is outstanding of the its great musicality and technical masters.

Born in Zaragoza where he began his musical studies. Then she travel to Madrid where he studied with pianist Pedro Espinosa, a student of Alfred Cortot and Marguerite Long, who received the best technical advice and musical career definitely ticking. He moved to the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona where chamber music works with Professor Liliana Maffiote.Attend refresher classes, both piano and chamber music, receiving advice from Ramon Coll, Roberto Bravo, Cecilio Tieles, Carles Guinovart, Adela Barranco, Violeta Hemzy of Gainza, Gonçal Marcall Comellas and Cervera, among others. In 1989 he was a finalist for the Young Musicians Competition of Chamber Music. He has taken several courses as a pianist and as a teacher of chamber music, and recordings for Radio Nacional of Spain. His research interest in chamber music repertoire of Spanish, is reflected in his recent recordings distributed Tritó: "From 27 to 51 Recovery of Modernity" and "s Spanish music. XX: Ebony Voices ", the latter nominated for music awards 2010 Academy of Music in Spain.He has been a judge in national and international piano and chamber music, such as the International Piano Competition of Brest (France). Collaborator of Contemporary Music ensemble, "Enigma Group-Orchestra Auditorio de Zaragoza" in various seasons. He has given concerts in Spain and in the Netherlands, Italy, Czechoslovakia, Serbia, United States, Argentina, Uruguay and France, where he has had the pleasure of playing in the prestigious Salle Cortot in Paris. In 2008 it made its presentation by the clarinetist Francisco Antonio Garcia at Carnegie Hall in New York and in 2009 at the Mozarteum in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and the Mozarteum in Uruguay. Since 2001 she is teaching in the chair of Chamber Music at the Conservatory of Music of Aragon.

Formed in 2002 and takes its name from the first name that received the settlement population of Iberian culture that existed in what is now known as Zaragoza. Its components, Daniel French (violin), Nuria Ganet (cello) and Consuelo Roy (piano), teach in different conservatories Aragonesa community.

Salduie Trio is a group especially interested in the dissemination of Spanish music, in its programs spanning the last two centuries of their repertoire. Make an intense search (in libraries and archives throughout the Spanish territory), recovery, study and dissemination of Spanish musical heritage. Have released to the public works for trio of composers like Valentine Zubiaurre, Antoni Planas, Aureliano Valle, Mariano Perello, Paul Sorozábal, Ricardo Lamote de Grignon, Evaristo Fernández Blanco, Simon Tapia-Colman or Jose Maria Sanmartin, among others.

Participate regularly in the Summer Music Series held in Zaragoza Roman Forum and other concert series in the Spanish and European landscape: International Music Performance Festival "City of Jaca" cycles "commented concerts" (CAI), "Classics of Our Time" (Musical Youth), "Noon Concert" (Fundación Juan March), "From 27 to 51: Recovery of modernity" and "Spanish Chamber music of the twentieth century" (Caixa Foundation Catalunya), "Classical Music and Lyric" (EXPO 2008), "The jazz and classical music influence on Spanish and Latin" (Cervantes Institute of Palermo). They also act in prestigious halls as the Auditorio de Zaragoza, Manuel de Falla Hall Palace Longoria (SGAE headquarters in Madrid), the Foundation of Leon or Eutherpe Salle Cortot in Paris.

In 2003 he made a CD recording in the Auditorium of Zaragoza with Trios No. 1 and No. 2 of Joan Chic. David Apellániz began his music studies at the École Nationale de Musique de Bayonne with Jacques Doué.Afterwards, he completed his education at the Reina Sofía High School of Music under the guidance of Frans Helmerson and A. L. Quintana, and had masterclasses from Professors such as N. Gutman, D. Geringas, B. Pergamenchikov, B. Greenhouse, P. Müller, Trio Beaux Arts, the Hagen Quartet and the Quartetto Italiano.

He has appeared as a soloist with the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, “Andrés Segovia” Chamber Orchestra, City of Málaga Symphony Orchestra, Andalucía Youth Orchestra, Plural Ensemble, Grup Instrumental of Valencia, Valencia Symphony Orchestra, Taima Granada Group, Reina Sofia Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of France, Youth Symphony Orquestra of Lisboa and Symphony Orchestra of Málaga, at the most important theatres and Music Halls, such as the National Symphony Hall (Madrid), Central Theatre (Seville), Palau de la Música (Barcelona), Manuel de Falla Music Hall (Granada), Philarmonic Society of Bilbao, Sant Luis Theatre (Lisboa), Juan March Foundation (Madrid), International Festival (Granada), Festival Palace (Santander), etc, performing together with members of the Hagen Quartet, J. L. Temes, P. Halffter, J. Cerveró, J.P. Dessy, Z. Nagy, F. Panisello, G. Causse, D. Masson, Gloria Isabel Ramos, J. L. García Asensio, etc. His intense activity as a performer brought him on tours as a soloist in Spain, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Austria, South Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Morocco, Panama, etc.

In the field of Chamber Music, he forms duos along with his brother, the pianist Carlos Apellániz and also with the accordionist Angel Luis Castaño. He is specially involved in contemporary music projects, mostly in collaboration with national composers, and always as a soloist with both the Plural Ensemble and the Grup Instrumental of Valencia. He has made recordings for a big number of radio and television channels, such as the recording of George Lygeti´s Concerto for Violoncello and several works for violoncello and piano (Martinu, A. Schnittke and F. Poulenc). As a soloist, he has recorded for Sony Spain, Verso and Col-legno.

• For seven years, he was Professor of Violoncello at the Valencia High School of Music. He teaches at the prestigious Aragón National Music Conservatoire.__

Claudio Constantini is emerging as one of the finest young bandoneonists in Europe, hailed by musicians and public for his sensitive interpretative qualities and technical command of the instrument. Constantini performs a wide variety of repertoire written or adapted for the bandoneon, from classical masterpieces of Bach to contemporary music. Argentinean tango plays an important role in his career as bandoneonist, particularly works of contemporary tango composers, including himself.A prize winner at several international bandoneon and tango competitions (Astor Piazzolla international competition-Italy, Klingenthal international competition-Germany, Doble Ocho competition-Netherlands, Cafe tango competition-Germany), Constantini has been invited to perform at concert halls across four continents. Highlights of the season 2010-2011 included the world premiere of Daniel Schvetz’s “Concerto for bandoneon and symphony orchestra”, together with the Metropolitan orchestra of Lisbon and Jesús Medina (conductor), a concert with the Kristoforo Kamerinis orchestra in Lithuania which was broadcast on National Lithuanian television, and invitations to festivals such as the Helsinki festival (Finland),het Grachtenfestival (Amsterdam-The Netherlands), and Piano.lt festival (Lithuania).Born in Lima, Perú into a family of professional musicians. Already one year later he won his first award, the 3 rd prize in the National Bela Bartok piano competition, starting a career as a classical concert pianist, which at present remains parallel to his bandoneonistic activities. In Constantini’s view, both sides of his artistic personality compensate each other, providing the means to explore a much wider perspective of music. This was complimented further with composing, a natural choice for Constantini which allowed him to participate in the creative process of music as well as in the interpretative side.Constantini began his bandoneon studies autodidactially in his early twenties. What initially began as a side-instrument quickly became a professional ambition. He performed as soloist and founded ensembles such as the Milonga del norte quintet which won the 1st prize at the International Astor Piazzolla competition in 2005. Later he enrolled in the Rotterdam conservatorium (The Netherlands) to perfect his bandoneon studies with master bandoneonist Víctor Villena.Constantini has collaborated with many great artists of the tango such as Víctor Villena, Gustavo Beytelmann, Gotan project, and Julián Peralta. He is founder, composer and artistic leader of the Septetoscopio ensemble, and the Constantini-Villena-Myohanen trio.As a composer and arranger, Claudio Constantini has worked for such organizations as theParis Conservatoire (France), Juvenalia chamber orchestra (Finland), Canadian Academy (Japan), Orquesta Típica Tangarte (Sweden),Music Theater department of Lahti University (Finland), Primavera ensemble (Russia), Villena tango club (France), among others.
