The standard range of new-generation Panel 800 are PP871, PP874 and PP877. The high-performance panels are PP882 and PP885. PP87x with article numbers 3BSE069270R2, 3BSE069271R2, 3BSE069272R2 or higher are UL 508- and DNV-certified. The PP88x series are UL 508-certified, with DNV certification to be available soon. The OPC client cannot connect with Compact and System 800xA OPC servers. Power supply connection, including connections for serial communication, has changed. Panel Builder 800 Version 5 projects can be imported to run on the new hardware, allowing these to take advantage of the new features of Panel 800 Version 6. This means users do not need to configure projects from the beginning. However, it is necessary to do minor adaptations as several features, such as the number of function keys, LED, screen resolution and communication ports, are different. Objects, symbols and text sizes are automatically resized to fit the new screen. However, it is not guaranteed that these will be proportional to each other. Controller settings will need to be configured.
