Pandas

Over the last month I have been researching the panda bear! I have been searching for their physical description, habitat, defense, prey and predators.

Physical Description

Habitat

Do you know where the panda lives? Do you want to know? Pandas can be found where the bamboo forests are. Things you can find in he pandas habitat are bamboo and other pandas.

Defense

Do you know how the panda protects it self? Panda perfume is one way to protect itself noise to. Pandas use panda perfume to tell the enemies they are there. Pandas are loud to scare off predators.

Prey

Crunch! Gulp! The panda eats bamboo. The panda eats a lot more. Pandas eat meat but only thousands of years ago. But they only ate jaguar meat. Pandas even eat fish.

Predators

Growl! Growl! The pandas are scared. Pandas talk to predators by snorting or growling. Pandas have a few predators. Pandas predators are cheetahs,elk and caribou but long ago people hunted pandas. Cheetahs hunt pandas because cheetahs food are endangered. Elk hunt pandas because most elk in China have scratches on there back.

Interesting Fact

Now I am going to tell you some interesting facts about pandas. Pandas are on the endangered list because thousands of years ago people hunted pandas. Red pandas have seven fingers. Some times pandas eat meat.

In conclusion I hope you had a fun time reading my book. Doing research is not all about fun its about getting smarter too. People are trying to teach pandas and gorillas to write.
