Parts Identification
Time Adjustment
1. Plug the rice cooker into an electrical outlet.
2. Press either key or key for one minute or longer until the time indication starts flashing.
3. Adjusting the time by pressing the hour key.

Preparing
1. Plug the rice cooker into an electrical outlet.
2. Measure the rice 3. Rinse the rice in a separate container, not in the inner pan.
1) Rinse the rice with water, and then quickly drain the rice. 2) Rinse the rice evenly and quickly so that the rice grain rubs against
each other. 3) Repeat (1) and (2) until the water is clear.
4. Put the rinsed rice into the inner pan and add to the appropriate amount of water, depending on the amount of rice and the menu chosen. To measure the water level, place the inner pan on a flat surface and check the water level against the gauges on both sides of the inner pan.
5. When ready, place the inner pot into the rice cooker.

the “Menu” key moves from one option to another as follows:

Tips on Cooking different Rice Mixed Rice
� Do not use “Quick Menu” � Do not use “Timer Cooking” � Do not use “Keep Warming”
Pre-‐washed Rice
� After adding the water mix the rice within the inner pan. � If the cooked rice is too hard, add more water the next time.
Brown Rice
� If you chose , soak the brown rice in water for 6 hours before cooking.

Setting Exact Time for Cooking
1. Confirm that present time is correct.
Press (1) “Menu” to select which rice you will be cooking, each pressing of the “Menu” key moves from one menu to another as follows:

LCD screen will display the time previously set and timer indicator will flash for ready to readjust the time.
3. Press (3) to set the time when you wish to have the cooked rice ready by.

Keeping Warm When rice is cooked, the unit will automatically switch to “Keep Warm” mode However, “Keep Warm” is not recommended with the following types of rice:

Cleaning & Maintenance
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning
1. Inner Pan Cover
Wash with mild detergent and sponge, dry after washing.
2. Inner Pan Completely wash with mild detergent and dry after washing. Do not scrub with abrasive or rough material, as it may risk damaging the pan.
3. Rubber Packing Take the ‘Rubber Packing’ off, wash with mild detergent and dry after washing.
4. Body and Lid Wipe with a damp cloth.
5. Temperature Carefully remove any debris from the heater or temperature sensor.

Trouble Shooting Codes
The inner pan is not placed into the unit.
Too much water is added.
When using the Rice Cooker keep it away from walls more than 4 inches. See page 9 for more information.
When you have the “Keep Warm” function for more than 96 hours.

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
1. Remove the inner pot and place the rice cooker facing down on a flat high surface with the lid hanging off the side.

3. Wash the cover
� Wash with mild detergent and soft sponge � Dry it
4. Set the cover back
5. Lock the cover

Everyday Maintenance
1. Body, lid and inner lid Wipe the rice cooker’s body, lid and inner lid with a wet towel.
2. Detachable inner lid Remove the detachable inner lid, hand wash then dry.
3. Inner Pan When washing the inner pan, clean the bottom of the pot, especially the center. If the bottom of the pot is dirty, the sensor won’t recognize the correct temperature.

4. Pot’s rim & inner body
There maybe left over and/or dried up rice grains on the pot’s rim and inner body. Please clean then dry completely.
5. Sensor Clean any dirt off the sensor if necessary.

6. Fan Cover
The fan cover is located on the bottom of the rice cooker. Push the arrow mark to remove then wash the clogged cover.
In the photo (see marked below), if the area is covered with dust, clean with a vacuum cleaner.
