MWCD (since 2007)Mekong Women for Community Development

Mekong Women for Community Development(MWCD) empowers women in the MekongDelta through leadership development andgrassroots community projects. MWCDequips women with advocacy skills,resources, and other tools to tackle pressingcommunity concerns.

MWCD groups have reached out to thousands of community members and implemented theirown projects addressing human trafficking,clean water, micro business support,vocational training and childhood nutrition.

ADAPT (since 2005)An giang/Dong thap Alliance for the Prevention of Trafficking

ADAPT leads counter-trafficking efforts at the frontiers of Vietnam by increasing access to education, providing shelter and reintegration services, and enabling economic opportunities. We continue to:

> Provide academic and vocationalscholarships to girls and young womenvulnerable to human trafficking

> Bring comprehensive reintegration servicesto trafficking survivors

> Strengthen border communities bysupporting grassroots women networksto advocate for safe migration

> Raise human trafficking awarenessamong factory workers and managers inurban/industrial areas to prevent labortrafficking

ADAPT has served thousands of girls, women, their families and communities. Our approach centers on empowerment andeducation, one of the most effective waysto prevent human trafficking.

ECCE (since 2001)Early Childhood Care & Education

Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)brings the latest knowledge in braindevelopment, maternal and child health,safety improvement and child developmentto early childhood education practitioners.

PALS has trained thousands of teachers andadministrators throughout Vietnam inteaching methods, child psychologicaland emotional development, and creativeactivities to engage young children.
