It’s Time to Enroll or Re-enroll for the New 4-H Year We are glad that you have chosen to be apart of Texas 4-H and the Palo Pinto County 4-H program! Below is some important information about enrolling for the 2016 -2017 4-H Year.

Texas 4-H requires every 4-H youth member and volunteer leader to enroll or re-enroll during each 4-H year. Palo Pinto County is still going to require that a paper enrollment form be completed for each member and volunteer leader.

Texas 4-H has an annual participation fee for youth members of $20.00 up to October 31, 2016, and a $25.00 fee from November 1st to the completion of the 2016-2017 4-H year. Clover Kids (grade K‐2) are exempt from this fee.

To be a 4‐H member, the enrollment form and fee must be submitted and entered into the 4‐H Connect program. The Extension office will enter the information once we receive your enrollment form and payment, or you may access 4-H connect to re-enroll. To access 4-H Connect to enroll or to register for an event, please contact the Palo Pinto County Extension Office to obtain your login information.

4-H volunteers that work directly with youth must be screened before becoming a volunteer. They are then are rescreened every three years. We ask that all volunteers completely fill out the yellow form each year.

Please Help 4-H Support United Way

Palo Pinto County 4-H has chosen to support the annual United Way fundraising cam‐paign as our One Day 4-H project on the county level. Palo Pinto County 4-H is one of 16 organizations that receives funding from United Way of Palo Pinto County. They support us, so let’s support them!

We will be collecting change during club meetings in September and October. Each club has been given a jar that will be available for filling. We ask that clubs return their banks by October 21st so that we can report our efforts to the state. There are also some opportunities to volunteer your time. United Way is in need of volunteers for several events. More information will be available soon.
