Church supports in the Holy Land for the welfare of their

Celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony
Fr. Trey celebrated World Marriage Day and the sacrament of matrimony in a special mass held on March 13th
at St. Jude. Deacon James gave a stirring homily, including the importance of keeping married couples focused
on their commitment to each other in this busy and fast-paced world.
Fr. Trey gave an inspiring short talk on marriage and then had all married couples stand and re-commit to each
other their pledge of love and devotion. Twenty-one couples registered for the mass ranging in anniversaries
from 1 year to 61 years.
Congratulations to all of our participating couples!
Registered were: Stephen & Patricia Allen, 30 years; Dustin & Nathalie Bagwell, 5 years; Bill & Charmaine Biossat,
46 years; Blake & Evelyn Bonaventure, 8 years; Camilo & Betty Ellzey Cuadra, 7 years; Louis & Gail DeAngelo, 50
years; Alvin & Mary Decuir, 46 years; Taylor & Ashley Gravois, 15 years, Joe & Dolly Hader, 51 years; Chris &
Johanna Posada Kyles, 12 years; Michael & Susan Lala, 30 years; Colin & Lauren Luke, 14 years; Andrew & Brandi
Mouledoux, 15 years; Brandt & Katherine Patin, 1 year; Gary & Sandi Silva, 25 years; Eulis & Tamara (Tammy)
Simien, 41 years; James & Betty Thibodeaux, 60 years; Stephen & Stephanie Triche, 42 years; Larry & Sandra
Waguespack, 57 years; Oscar & Theta Williams, 60 years; Edward & Josephine Zganjar, 61 years.
Special thanks to Fr. Trey for making this year’s World Marriage Day special in spite of the Covid19 limitations.

A VOCATION VIEW “Morning by morning He wakens - wakens my ear to listen as those who are taught.” Listen in prayer daily to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, seeking to know your vocation. CULTURE OF LIFE REFLECTIONS “My predecessor Saint Paul VI warned in his 1968
encyclical letter ‘Humanae Vitae’ about the temptation to
consider human life as one object among many over which
powerful and educated people can exercise dominion. How
prophetic is his message now! These days prenatal
diagnosis is commonly used to filter out those who are
deemed weak or inferior.”
--Pope Francis, “Let Us Dream”
