BackgroundPall-Aquasafe Water Filters for up to 7 day use (AQ7FSNand AQ7FRN) provide filtered water for topical use,personal hygiene, consumption*, and rinsing medicalequipment. The sterilising grade nylon membrane is ratedand validated at 0.2 µm(1), and protects against waterborneparticulates and pathogens such as Legionella spp.,Pseudomonas spp., Cryptosporidium, and fungi.

To minimise the risk of inadvertent cross-contamination and retrograde contamination, the filter housing materialutilises silver technology as an enhanced, non-leachingbacteriostatic additive. A Detachable Shower Rose(AQFROSE) is now available for use in combination with the Pall-Aquasafe Water Filter (AQ7FSN) to provide waterfor direct wound care*.
