IRWS and SEEA-W Adaptation

The team tasks summarized in studying the water account tables, identifying the gaps or deficiencies of current data in order to looking for alternative data sources.

The main reason for adapting IRWS and SEEA-W is to reach to a sustainable water resources through interactions between economic and water resources.

Team of specialists to adapt the implementing of SEEA-W was establish in 2008 from PCBS and PWA.

The continuous Israeli occupation to the Palestinian national water resources.

Poor coordination between ministries and institutions.

Lack of commitment from ministries to provide the data in a required time.

In effective data from the administrative records.

The sharing of information about water in Palestine is censored due to political reasons.
