ShenShu ( 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra)

YaoYang Guan (below the spinous process of the 4th lumbar vertebra)

FeiYang (7 cun directly above KunLun)

MingMen (below the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra)

ZhiShi (3 cun laterial to the lower border of the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra)

Taixi (between the medial malleolus and tendo calcaneus)

Lavender (Lavandula Augustifolia)

Properties: analgesic, antidepressant, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, antibacterial, decongestant, emmenagogue, nervine, sedative, tonic.

Balancing qualities- mind and body so that healing can occur.

Excellent pain reliever that can be used in massage blends for tired/aching muscles. Lavender has been credited with the ability to reduce headaches.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globulus)

Properties: Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antineuralgic, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, insecticidal, parasiticidal.

Can alleviate rheumatism, including rheumatoid arthritis. It can be used in a blend to soothe aching and sore muscles; can be especially helpful when muscle strains are present.

Can help to increase concentration and memory.

Always use essential oils in their diluted form. NEVER apply undiluted essential oils to the skin. Use a ‘carrier oil’ such as grapeseed, coconut, or jojoba oil. When creating an aromatic massage blend, use about fifteen to twenty drops of pure essential oil for every ounce of carrier oil.

Diet low in saturated fats and simple carbohydrates

A minimum of five types of plant food per day and the size of each serving is half-cup
