Twinkle twinkle, babies. It’s yourfavorite “starchild” buzzin’ among thestars with a little chitterchat…
When he started out working forAtari, he never wore shoes. Never bathe.Vegan lifestyle. Hippie. College dropout. THEN, he went to India to findhimself…and came back business-minded and started up a business in hisparents’ garage that would eventually beworth millions to billions of dollarsStill he lived an average, non-star-likelifestyle. Unassuming, down-to-earth-and always bending the rules of realitybecause he could. One of his mostamazing quotes and my favor i te :“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the roundpegs in the square holes…the ones whosee things differently – they’re not fondof rules… You can quote them, disagreewith them, glorify or vilify them, but theonly thing you can’t do is ignore thembecause they change things…they pushthe human race forward, and while somemay see them as the crazy ones, we seethe genius, because the ones who arecrazy enough to think that they canchange the world, are the ones who do.”Well done, pioneer. R.I.P. Steve Jobs1955-2011.
As the Occupy Wall Street move-ment continues to spread across theglobe (including local rallies around theMarket House in Fayetteville), notableentertainers are showing up among itssupporters in increasing numbers. In re-cent weeks Russell Simmons, TalibKweli, Kanye West, David Banner,Lupe Fiasco , Bun B, RaheemDeVaughn and Dr. Cornel West amongothers, have all made appearances atvar ious ra l l ies across the country.Looks like the so-called “Tea Party” isnot the only “revolutionaries” in thiscountry. Viva la OWS!!
So, is the Bey preggers or not?! Ru-mors continue to circulate (including bycontroversial talk-show host WendyWilliams) that the Beyonce – Jay-Zpregnancy might be a faked one for pub-licity reasons. Fueling the flames is thela tes t s tory regarding Bey’s
dad Mathew Knowles’ accusation of offering to buy a baby forBeyonce and Jay-Z to raise as their own. The woman Mathew re-portedly made this offer to is Alexsandra Wright, the woman heknocked up while married to Beyonce and Solange’s mom Tina.Alexsandra reportedly has a tape of Mathew making this offer. Wow!Definitely waiting to see how this develops…and paying attentionto see if Bey is buying more pillows than usual. Hmmm…….movingon.
Looks like another Destiny’s Child member has found love. Andwe didn’t see this coming at all! F.A.M.E. tour mates ChrisBrown and Kelly Rowland have started dating. Sources say Kellyinitially ignored Chris’ invites to dinner, but she eventually becamereceptive to his advances and now they are reportedly seeing eachother. Well, good for them! I think they make a cute couple.
More bad news for fallen-from-grace Bishop Eddie Long. Alawsuit was filed against the scandalous preacher and head of NewBirth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA for allegedlyscheming church folk out of millions of dollars, via a business Longendorsed. According to the Atlantic Journal-Constitution, the alle-gations stem from a three-day investment seminar Long held at thechurch in October 2009, at which church members were encouragedto invest in a company named City Capital Corporation, accordingto the suit. Have the members seen any money back from their in-vestment? Well, what do YOU think? Moving on…….
