INDUCTION PROGRAM AT SSTC FOR BE-FIRST YEAR STUDENTS Induction program is an initiative to groom the overall personality of stu-

dents and make them acquainted with the culture of the institution. The 11th Induction

Program for the students of FIRST YEAR Engineering was held on 25th July2018.

The aim of the program was to ensure that every student feels welcomed, engaged

and excited to begin this new important stage in their education. The idea was to make the

students aware of their prospective opportunities and to show them the path they have

adopt in order to become successful engineers.

The Program started with the Sharwasti Vandhana followed by Lamp lighting.

Director SSTC delivered the inaugural address in Auditorium, Hastakalamak Hall where

he highlighted the details regarding academic performance needed and pertaining to syl-

labi, College & campus central facilities, expected discipline, expectation from students.

President SGES, Mrs Jaya Mishra in her special address advised students about recent trends in various branches of Engineering and research and asked students to explore career opportunities in the field of Engineering. The chief guest of the event was Shri I.P. Mishra President Shri Gangajali Educa-

tion Society. He addressed the students about the Role & Responsibilities of Engineers

and importance of communication and technology. , he informed the students about profi-

bus technology and its uses. He emphasized on the importance of effective communica-

tion skills for engineers.

Our Almuni Ashish Kumar Bajpai Vice President , SWIGGI 2003 Pass out was

the special guest .Ashish is one of the Best Techno Leader and mentor to work with.

He is incredibly respectful of everyone who works with him and embodies the at-

tributes of an inspiring leader. He has been instrumental in building effective and

scalable Test Engineering team, QA process, tools, frameworks and environments

in both Myntra and Swiggy. Ashish is always approachable for both technical and

non technical problems in any kind of situations .He shaired his experience with the

students and inspired them.

On this occasion Dr. P.B. Deshmukh Director SSTC, Dr.Chinmay Chandrakar Principal

SSEC , Dr. Smita Selot , Principal SSITM were also present .The entire programme was

anchored by first year students

Induction Programme was followed by “Maha Bhog” at (SSTC)SSEC Campus .

Students of all SSTC group received the Prasad along with their parents

Debate and essay writing competition was organized on account of Hindi Divas. Students participated in the events with a great Enthuses.

SVEEP VOTERS AWERNESS CAMP (NUKKAD NATAK AND SIGNATURE CAMPAIN) DMART AND DIFFERENT PUBLIC PLACES IN BHILAI

Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program, better known as SVEEP, is the flagship program of the Election Commission of India for voter education, spreading voter awareness and promoting voter literacy in India. Under SVEEP campaign NSS unit of SSEC con-ducted various program like Nukkad Natak , signature campaign at different places of Bhilai . Stu-dents visited D-Mart Bhilai , Civic-Center Bhilai , Durg , Junvani and many more places. A human chain was also build by student from sector-1 to sector-9 to promote voter awerness among people.

VISHWAKARMA PUJA WAS CELEBRATED IN SSEC-SSTC Vishwakarma is known as the divine engineer and main architect of the universe. He is worshipped by the engineering community and professionals too. Workforce in the offices and workshops worship their instruments and tools which are used in their profession in front of Lord Vishwakarma. The festival of Vishwakarma Jayanti is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma every year. Every year SSEC-SSTC celebrates Vishwakarma puja at workshop . The Chief guest of the function Shri I.P. Mishra ,Chairman and President SGES Mrs. Jaya Mishra performed puja. On this occasion Dr. P.B. Deshmukh Director SSTC, Chinmay Chandrakar Principal SSEC, all the Hod’s ,Faculty Members and students were present. “MahaBhog” at SSEC –SSTC Campus was organized. All students of SSTC group received the Prasad.
