Her life perhaps is one of the greatest examples of gift and sacrifice. She gave so much for her kids. She sacrificed every dollar she had to the wellbeing of her children. Even as many as 29 neighborhood stray cats could routinely find cat food from her generosity. Memories of the “Hayes Mobile”, learning to drive, and all of the interesting and most memorable moments will always make us smile. Memories of the scent of fresh zuc- chini bread and blackberry cobbler from the fresh berries we picked will always serve as reminders of her generosity, her care, her love, and the beautiful memories. She will always share a part of all of our hearts. You are in a better place now our friend, our sister, our mother. We will join you on the glorious day when the Lord decides it is time. We love you, and will carry on your lesson of placing others before ourselves. We will miss you terribly, but love others better because of your time with us. A celebration of Diana’s life was held Nov. 17 at Bible Baptist Church, 156 Shelby Ave., Radcliff, Ky. Rev. Charles Waters officiated. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed at www. nebfh.com.

dIana Mary andrekoPouLos hayes

Diana Mary Andrekopoulos Hayes, died Nov. 13, 2015.

She was preceded in death by loving parents and her brother Danny, and the Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her six children; Ronnie Hayes, Teresa Bromley, Susan Hayes, Sarah Hayes, Rachel Cox and

Rebecca Hayes; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two surviving siblings in Wis., and an extended family of relatives and friends from every walk of life.

We were blessed to have learned many valuable lessons from our mother, friend, sister, caregiver, teacher, and lov-ing example during her nearly 72 years, among us.

Memories of the scent of fresh zuc-chini bread and blackberry cobbler from the fresh berries we picked will always serve as reminders of her generosity, her care, her love, and the beautiful memories.
