What do the employees of thesecompanies think? On Glassdoor.com,Costco rates a 3.7 out of 5 withemployees saying things like: "Theculture is great. The pay is the highestin the industry. You're working for acorporation that has high morals."

Quiktrip got 4 out of 5 stars, with oneworker saying: "Putting employeecompensation ahead of profit andbottom line, this company was built byloyalty." Some 84 percent of employeeswho submitted reviews to the sitewould recommend their job to a friend.Just 48 percent of those who work atWalmart said the same thing.
