THE PRESENTERS
A/Professor Angus Cameron completed Dentistry at the University of Sydney in 1984 and began work as a junior dental officer at Westmead
Hospital. He was the first to complete the Master of Dental Science program in Paediatric Dentistry in NSW in 1991. Until recently, he was a Visit-ing Senior Specialist at the Children's Hospital and the head of the Department of Paediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics at Westmead. Currently he is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and holds academic appointments at Newcastle and Charles Sturt universities. Angus is the co-editor of the Handbook of Paediatric Dentistry, to be published in its 5th edition and translated into 7 other languages. His clinical and re-search interests include craniofacial biology, paediatric oral medicine and pathology and the management of trauma and dental anomalies.
Dr Faye Goodyear is an Orthodontist with a specialist practice in Toowong. She graduated from Guy's Hospital in 1998 and then returned to
complete her Masters degree in Orthodontics which she completed in 2005 prior to emigrating to Australia later that year. She also holds a hon-ours degree in Psychology from the University of London. She is a past president of the Australian Society of Orthodontics Queensland branch and is a member of the Australian Orthodontic Society, The British Orthodontic Society and the European Orthodontic Society. She worked in the public sector for 10 years prior to taking over the sole ownership of her private practice. She has also taught Orthodontics to undergraduates at the University of Queensland. She is married with two children and in her spare time she cycles competitively.
Dr Neil Savage is registered in the specialities of Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. His main commitment is private specialist Oral Medicine
practice. He is a Consultant in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology to the RBWH, conducting a weekly Outpatient’s clinic and participating in regis-trar training as well as Dental and Medical students. Neil is actively involved in diagnostic histopathology reporting and consults on difficult cases. He is a member of both the ADA Inc and AHPRA Therapeutics committees and a contributing author to the Therapeutic Guidelines book “Oral and Dental”. He has specific clinical and research interests in the management of soft tissue lesions, both conservative and surg ical, the use of steroid medications, oral dysaesthesias and telemedicine.

The Paedodontics Update 2021 event is organised by the Queensland Dental GroupTM ACN 139051362, ABN 32139051362. Participants may use this course to meet CPD requirements as set by the Dental Board of Australia. CPD Verification has also been received from the New Zealand Dental Asso-ciation (NZDA). For Australian and New Zealand dental practitioners, the maximum hours of CPD credit attainable for attending Paedodon-tics Update 2021 is 7 hours. The Queensland Dental GroupTM guar-antees advertised courses are compliant with the current Dental Board of Australia guidelines on continuing professional develop-ment. NZDA verifies, that based on the information provided to NZDA, these activities meet the Dental Council policy requirements for CPD. NZDA CPD verification does not imply promotion or endorsement of the con-tents of any course. Participants need to use professional judgment to assess the validity and usefulness of techniques, materials or therapeutic products to their own practice. Registration for Paedodontics Update 2021 includes morning refreshments, lunch & afternoon tea. The Early Bird registration rate is available for the Paedodon-tics Update 2021 for registrations received and paid in full by the 3rd of June 2021. No sponsorship has been sought for the event to allow all presenters to provide their own unbiased views, opinions and preferences. Registration for this event does not include insurance of any kind and it is strongly recommended that participants ar-range their own travel and other insurances. The organisers reserve the right to make changes from time to time and will, if appropriate, make such information available on the website. Any registered participant who cancels his or her registration within twenty (20) business days prior to a course for which the participant is registered for, will not receive a refund of the registration fee. The organiser will have no further responsibilities nor be liable for any loss of income or cancellation fees of travel arrangements or accom-modation or other monies expended by the participant.
