Home Learning Tips Keep practising your 3, 4, 6 & 8 times tables and counting on in tens from any two digit num-ber. Focus on reading one school level reading book a week until your child can read that book with 100% accuracy. Whilst reading with your child, identify different sentence types and word classes. Remember to ask your child questions about the text they’re reading. E.G Why has the character done that? What do you think will happen next and why? Fill in the home learning grid. If an activity takes longer than expected, make sure you fill in the actual time it took! Encourage your children to use the online education tools such as Mathletics, Spelling Shed and Times Tables Rockstars!
