In the wake of a very successful ALL-CAL '83, it might be time for club members to take a minute to thank the people who generously donated their time to make this prestigous event a real success.
Planning and organization playa major role in developing a good tour. Getting 50 or more cars out on the road, up to the mountains and back again was a major accomplishment and Lloyd King and Joe Whitaker should be complimented for their efforts and coordination for saturday's tour and picnic. Thanks also to Jesse Hunt and R. H. Peck for an excellent picnic lunch in the mountains. The setting was beautiful and enhanced the viewing of the Packards even more.
The boat tour and dinner that evening was great. It was a unique way for visitors to get a better look a t our beaut i fu I ci t y. The conven ience of bein.g able to walk from the Glorietta Bay I nn to board the boat for dinner was also good planning. I'm sure many Packard drivers appreciated the convenience of leaving their prizes safely parked in the hotel lot under guarded supervision. "This club is lucky to have the leadership that we received at this event. R.H. Peck, Jesse Hunt, Lloyd King, Joe & Pauline Whitaker, and Mark Rothermich should all receive a round of applause for their efforts in making ALL-CAL '83 a great success. For those members who were not able to attend this year's feastivities, I can only wish you better I uck next year.

1955-56 Roster Update
Last October our newsletter printed a request from Stuart Blond of Canoga Park,CA for information on 1955 and 56 Packards and clippers. Stuart was, and still is, compiling a roster of these cars for the purposes of research, option availability, running changes and to answer questions of authenticity.
Since that notice appeared in ' our newsletter and in other
publications, the response has been gratifying. So, through the courtesy of Stuart Blond, we present the latest results of his work.

As you can tell, he is off to a good start, but as yet he can only account for less than 1 % of the total 2 year production of these cars. So if you own; know who owns; know the whereabouts of; or even suspect any of the above; obtain a roster form from Mark Rothermich at our monthly meetings or write:
Stuart Blond 7050 Owensmouth Ave. Canoga Park, CA 91303
(please include SSAE)
Complete the form and mail it to Mr. Blond. Your addition to the sum total of Packard knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
