WHaT do We meaN by “PacKaged ProducT”Packaged product stand for a turnkey solution made with Pentair's components, all assembled in the same box.

Even if Pentair has been distributing single components for the water treatment industry since many years, we decided in 2011 to propose a new service that would suit the needs of OEMs, distributors and dealers.

The reason for this decision was that we identified an opportunity to distribute some of our components assembled as a unique solution with the following benefits: a decrease in shipping and operational costs, an ease of ordering thanks to the

unique reference allocated to the whole system, the possibility to assemble the product with all its accessories as a standard configuration resulting in a more competitive price, a quicker set-up time and an enhanced partnership between Pentair and its customers.

All packaged products are developed for residential applications, like flat and houses but also light commercial applications as small pubs, dentist studio, small restaurants as well as laundries.

All this strategy is conveyed in the below 9 systems lines.

Those 2 Pentair packaged products are an affordable and convenient entry-level offering, with a fundamental equipement.

`River Soft Is the best solution in terms of cost and performances. It has been designed by Pentair to be the most affordable packaged product line:

• its very compact size makes it convenient to install in

confined places• extremely intuitive thanks to its electronics with its

3 simple step express set-up • its meter valve is available with or without bypass,

and provides interesting features, as the 7 cycle regeneration, which optimizes the regeneration thanks to an extra 10% added system capacity versus the standard 5 cycle softeners

`Angelfish Represents the evolution of the River Soft. Ideally positioned for those customers wanting to approach the do It yourself market, its easy 3 step programing, does not necessitate any expert to set it up. It comes equipped with:

• an electronic mounted on the cabinet cover that simplifies the access of the controller

• a plastic bypass that will guarantee the outlet water to flow even when unplugging of the unit during a maintenance

• the brine line is assembled with a safety brine valve, which will block the brine tank refills at certain level

`Harmony falls Upgrade of the Silver Falls, this family contains an enhanced technology such as:

• an electronic valve (for a simplified inlet hardness set-up) will optimize the service cycle when the system delivers soft water

• a hardness kit to set up the right inlet hardness grade• a safety brine valve system that will stop the refill of

the brine tank after a certain level• an integrated plastic bypass to service the softener

while maintaining the outlet water flow

This range of 3 softeneres, all equipped with a mechanic or electronic Fleck valve is declined in 3 possible system’s configurations.

` Silver Falls Its equipment corresponds to the main needs of the end user thanks to its high efficiency (low water and salt consumption) at an economical price:

• the brine line is connected to the valve with a flexible PE pipe. A brine well surrounds the air check in order to protect it against salt pallets

• the Fleck meter valve has a low piston and minimizes both water and salt consumptions during the regeneration

`Angel Falls Is the most comprehensive offering of the Waterfalls OEM range and was designed to provide the lowest water and salt consumptions during the regeneration for a reduced environmental footprint. The Angel Falls contains the best accessories available on the market and is supplied with a salt bag and a hardeners kit for an immediate startup.

` its controller regenerates the resin bed that only has been used during the service. It will efficiently adjust the exact liters of water and grams of salt needed by the system during its regeneration. The estimated savings are of -37% less salt and -80% water consumptions.• its stainless steel bypass ensures a longer life cycle and

prevents any leaks from forming due to overtightened connections

• its mono block cabinet with the tank placed outside the brine container avoids extra production of salt and provides a longer life cycle to the tank

• its brine line is uniquely designed: directly desegregating the salt pallets, it will more quickly produce the necessary brine. Also, it will regenerate the resin bed for the system to refill the brine tanks only few hour before its regeneration

`Riva Falls The famous SFE-EV, being the evolution of SFE controller, can on top of the SFE features, also provide additional specialties:

` the proportional regeneration: the system only regenerates the used resin bed by optimizing the consumption of both salt and water, to avoid waste of regenerant• the fast brining valve produces an immediate brine,

right before the regeneration in order for the brine tank to remain without water during the service and avoid salt exhalation or bed odors

Those two packaged products are designed by Pentair to provide a high qualitative softener in terms of design and performances in order to differentiate the offering by using a plastic valve that is able to withstand to all chemical water conductions. The SFE and SFE-EV controllers can power a chlorine cell, which will disinfect the resin bed.

` This range differs from the Waterfalls OEM by having some specific dealer focused settings like selecting the time period after which a customized message will appear on the controller’s screen, asking to call a service company for a maintenance:

`Ninfea Falls Its SFE controller permits three regeneration options, such as:

•meter delay: the regeneration occurs only after the full treatment capacity has been reached at specific times

•meter immediate: regenerates as soon as the system capacity is over

• time clock: the regeneration starts at determinated time and days

GE Avantapure and GE ProElite have been designed to satisfy customers wanting to have access to a strong brand recognized by the end user. Those two package products are providing high technology standards:

Ge proelite Is equipped with two probes directly mounted on the tank. They constantly monitor the condition of the resin bed and will only regenerate when the maximum capacity has been reached. The system recognizes the hardness fluctuation and can adjust the its treatment capacity accordingly. This technology provides an exclusive advantage, that is to save up to -10% of both water and salt.

GeAVANTAPURE - PRoELITE

gE Avantapure On top of its high quality components, the Avantapure offers a unique marketing program, which:

• rewards the customer on the prorata of the level of purchases, so as to support the investment in building the dealer’s network

•will assure the exclusivity for a defined territory•provides the dealer with a marketing literature support
