What We DoOur three-prong approach is inspired by the Employer-Driven Model (EDM), which was created by the National Institute of Corrections (NIC):1. Direct Client Services

– Career Coaching– Job Search Workshops– One-on-One Mentorship

2. Inter-Agency Networking– Joint Events with Other Service

Providers– Referrals

3. Employer Outreach– Education– Partnerships

Our overriding objective is to reduce recidivism among the

formerly incarcerated by providing a foundation for

lasting employment.

Who We ArePacific Reentry Career Services is a

nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation founded by Stephanie Hammerwold and Tim

Pershing with the mission of assisting formerly incarcerated women attain

employment through job search training, mentorship, support and guidance.

Stephanie & Tim bring their expertise in hiring, education, nonprofits and work

with at-risk populations to Pacific Reentry Career Services. We use

employment specialists, volunteer mentors, connections to other service

organizations and understanding employers to create a foundation for

long-term employment.

• Each job search is different, so we tailor our program to each client’s specific needs

• Clients receive resume help, interview practice and support throughout the job search process

• We use our network of employers, reentry service providers & mentors to help support job seekers

• Ongoing employment contributes to a reduction in recidivism rates1
