Details of each task can be found in this booklet, clearly labelled weeks 1 - 5
Work must be handed in on time each week and presented neatly.
It is your responsibility to keep this booklet safe. If you lose it you must pay to
print another, photocopy someone else’s or write up the tasks by looking at a
friend’s. It will not be accepted as an excuse for not handing in your work.

Pablo Picasso ( born 25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973), was a Spanish painter, sculptor,
printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement. Les Demoiselles d'Avignon was Picasso's first master-piece. The painting depicts five women with fig-ures composed of flat, splintered planes and face inspired

Week 3: Collecting images of Pablo Picasso portrait

Collect a range (at least 3-4 Images) of relevant images of the artist’s work. Select different sizes for mounting and present later.
Week 4: Reproduction of the Artist’s work
Reproduction (copy) one - two of the artist’s work, capturing their use of colour, line, tone, textures etc. Annotate your work explaining how the artist’s work has inspired you.
