WELCOME FROM THE CHAIRMAN
PAACET has become one of the premier institutions in South India in a short span of 7 years.
The vision of PAACET is to become an advanced technology institution with Global standing. Our focus is to provide an accessible, high quality learning environment that is open,
innovative, challenging and enterprising, and ultimately placing our graduates to take up
promising and highly rewarding job assignments that are on offer.
We are committed to developing new programmes in line with changing priorities and
business needs, often working in partnership with an employer. This approach enables our
students to acquire the new skills and knowledge necessary to progress in their chosen career.
For this reason, and many more, our employability rates compare favourably with other higher
education institutions.
Several prestigious employers are actively employing PAACET graduates because of ourevidenced academic ethics, and the practicality of other courses offered in emerging
technologies other than normal University syllabus.
Our campus is as innovative as our vision. Our facilities have the flexibility to accommodate
the technology of today and adapt changes that faces a dynamic industry.
PAACET provides an environment that encourages academic excellence. As the educational
programs evolve over the next few years, we hope to achieve more multi-disciplinary
integration that helps to develop the person beyond technical expertise.
PAACET is concerned about personalised opportunity where students can create the future
within an environment of support, with excellent faculty and facilities. PAACET is an academic
institution, which is justifiably proud of its activities.
One of its great strength is that of a social institution where students, faculty and parents
together develop lasting relationships.
Should you choose to become a PAACET family member you will find, you have chosen a place
of worship, which will give you a lifetime of support.
I look forward to welcoming you to PAACET as we determinedly pursue our goal to berecognised as the acknowledged centre of excellence in modern technology in India.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Engineering education in India has grown to an unprecedented scale with the advent of myriad newgeneration institutions offering under-graduate and post-graduate programmes in advancedtechnology with tremendous job potential in India and abroad.
The growth indices need not necessarily ensure the quality of the higher education sector in thecountry. Some committed institutions have understood the fact that only the fittest will survive and withthis vision they have focused on developing the quality. By deploying well qualified manpower, sufficient infrastructural facilities and a disciplined ambience for an effective teaching-learning process,PAACET has joined this group of handful successful institutions. The simple fact that almost all ouralumni and alumnae have been placed by reputed employers, mostly by campus interviews in the finalyear, is just an indication of what they get from the alma mater.
Small things make perfection, but perfection is not a small thing. At PAACET, nothing is left to chance. The College has already emerged as one among the most reputed institutions in the peer group andwith a clear vision and mission, our team of competent faculty and devoted Management target at
nothing less than a Centre of Excellence at the National Level in the near future and a globally reputedcampus in the long run.
Within the 7 years of existence, the College has acquired all the necessary facilities including sufficienthigh quality built-up area, most advanced and sophisticated laboratory equipment, fully automatedlibrary with more than sufficient number of titles and journals, large fleet of high-tech college buses, excellent canteen and hostel facilities and the like.
We not only train the students to be good professionals but also see to it that they grow up with abalanced value system and the confidence to face the challenges of life. The academic system in theCollege takes care of the students individually and the parents are kept informed about theirperformance. Periodic test papers and model examinations equip the students to face the University
examinations with ease.
In addition to the academic development, the overall development of the individual is also our concern.Sufficient facilities for sports and games are provided in the campus. The annual cultural festival helps indeveloping the leadership skills of the students. Personality development programmmes and soft-skilltraining help the students in facing the campus interviews with confidence and emerge victorious.
People always like to associate with successful people and organizations. Success is not a gift and is thefruit of perspiration. No one can succeed in a job, which they can not enjoy. Brain and memory arebiological entities for which, periodic and intelligent activation is a sine qua non. Only a student-centredinstitution can attend to this. This we feel is the strength of our unique institution.
We at PAACET always remember that in this era of Information Technology, the knowledgeable leads. We
do not want to produce mere engineers, but knowledge leaders with a mission for the future. In thispursuit, we whole-heartedly welcome the sincere and hardworking students to join our bandwagon ofsuccessful engineers to build a nation of achievers.

in the 1st and 2nd semesters, the students enter the world of electronics as well as instrumentation.
They are trained in programming techniques, operating systems software tools like ORCAD, PSPICE,
MATLAB etc.
From 5th semester onwards, the students concentrate on instrumentation subjects. They get a
thorough knowledge in industrial and biomedical instrumentation and a good idea of control
systems, a widely discussed subject in research and development wings, through computer control of
processes, process control instrumentation etc.
All advanced software facilities like MATLAB, SIMLINK, Image Pro Express, Code Composer Studio, Keil,
Multisim, emulators and simulators for TMS and Analog DSP ICs etc. are available to the students for
their technical endeavors at the DSP Lab.
The Microprocessor lab is equipped with processors, hardware kits, evaluation boards, and all latest
Microcontroller chips with RTOS facilities for tests and experiments in the field of Embedded systems.
The Analog communication laboratory has Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Storage
Oscilloscope, LCR-Q meters and signal sources and analog and digital measuring instruments for a
range of electrical parameters.
The Advanced Biomedical Laboratory has facilities such as Embedded Patient Monitoring System,
Image Processing Work Station, Respiratory Analyzer and Nerve Simulator.
The Process control laboratory has workstations for temperature, pressure, flow and other control
parameters. These laboratories help the students to learn about PLCs and PLC programming.

P.A. AZIZ MEMORIAL GOLD ROLLING TROPHY
for the College secures overall maximum points
in Technical & Cultural Competitions in
PAACET FESTIVAL
22ct. 1.25 kilogram Gold Trophy
PAACET FESTIVAL
PAACET Festival was organised during March 2008. It was a dream to organise an event of this
magnitude.
Primary aim of PAACET Festival is to encourage students to bring out creativity and innovation
through technical & cultural talents.
Students across Kerala and South India participated in the week long event. Focus was to
create a platform for our young talents to challenge their creativity and establish a launch pad
in this new world.
The college introduced for the first time a spectacular Gold Rolling Trophy (22 ct. 1.25 kg of
pure gold) for the overall winners. The winners were judged based on their combined team
points both in technical & cultural events.
The festival was concluded with a gala closing ceremony featuring top artists from India and
the mega musical show was spearheaded by Kunal Ganjawala, Bollywood playback singer.
Management of PAACET has decided to conduct this grand Festival every year. The Festival
content will be improved year after year
