We have prepared a wonderful show for you, and we’re just about ready to start. At this time, we ask that you please turn off your cell phones, pagers, and all other electronic devices, and please refrain from booing, hissing, heckling the actors, food fights, and any flash photography. If you start to feel drowsy during the production, and you haven’t eaten any suspicious apples

recently, please at least try to keep your snoring to a minimum.

NARRATOR: Once upon a time, there was a big, beautiful kingdom. The King and Queen had a daughter named Snow White. The Princess was all grown up, and sadly, her mother died. A few years later, the King was married to a new Queen, who turned out to be an evil Witch.

QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in this kingdom is the most beautiful of all?

MIRROR: You, my queen, are the most beautiful in the country.

NARRATOR: Meanwhile, Snow White kept growing up and becoming more beautiful. One day, the queen asked her magic mirror,

QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in this kingdom is the most beautiful?

MIRROR: You, my queen, are very beautiful, but Princess Snow White is a thousand times more beautiful than you.

NARRATOR: This made the proud and cruel Witch Queen very jealous of Snow White, and one day she ordered a soldier to get rid of her.

QUEEN: I want you to bring Snow White into the forest and get rid of her.

NARRATOR: The soldier obeyed and took Snow White deep into the forest. He felt bad, though, so he let Snow White run away. She ran and ran and finally found a tiny house.

SNOW WHITE: Oh, I see a light over there… it must be a little house.

[SNOW WHITE runs to the house.]

SNOW WHITE: Everything is so beautiful! Oh, and there are also seven little beds.

NARRATOR: She went inside and fell asleep in one of the many beds. A few hours later, seven dwarfs came home and found Snow White sleeping. After she awoke, they all became fast friends. They laughed and danced day and night.

And now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Puppet Show, sponsored by ArtSkills, where we bring to you our production of Snow White.

QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in this kingdom is the most beautiful?

MIRROR: You are very beautiful, my queen, but Snow White, with the little dwarfs of the forest, is a thousand times more beautiful than you.

NARRATOR: The queen was furious that Snow White was still alive, and broke the magic mirror. She made a poison apple and disguised herself as an old lady, and went straight to the house of the little dwarfs.

QUEEN: I am selling apples. Look at these beautiful apples, little girl. Wouldn't you like to taste one?

SNOW WHITE: Thank you, kind old lady.

NARRATOR: Not realizing that the apple had been poisoned, Snow White bit into it and fell fast asleep.

QUEEN: Ha-ha, ha, ha, ha! At last Snow White is gone, and I am the most beautiful in the kingdom! Ha-ha, ha, ha!

NARRATOR: After walking away, the satisfied Witch Queen was never heard from again, but the dwarfs were sad that they couldn’t revive their dear friend Snow White.

NARRATOR: Many months passed. One day, a handsome prince came to the forest and found Snow White! Immediately, he fell in love with her and decided to kiss her. This kiss broke the spell, and Snow White woke up. The Prince and Snow White fell in love and lived happily ever after!
