Council drawinc its attention to the inadequacy of the amount subscribed annually towards

inoreaeed subscription.

and that tbie Council places upon the minutes a record of the keen sanae of regret which is
felt at the retirement of Alderman J. E. Bloom, Esq., from the Council of the MUnicipality
of Newtown, after over five consecutive years' term of office, and that a letter under the
corporate· Seal of the Council, be forwarded to A~dennan Bloom, expressing this Couno il •a
gratefUl appreciation of hie valuable services, not only as a Representative of camden Ward,
but to the Municipality generally in MUnicipal, Patriotic, and all other matters effecting
the welfare of our district, and conveying to him the beet wishes of the members of this
Council for continuing health and prosperity.
