BeforeSolid brotherhood.I was under my
brother’s wing, he was a source of guidance.
I idolized him, wanted to be just like him when I grew older.
We were inseparable.
ShiftWe grew older and
developed new friendships. We became less connected. Influenced by his new
friends and began to experiment with drugs.
Experimentation led to addiction.
Tension and mutual change in feelings.
I didn’t like him this way, he didn’t care.
Relationship at all time low.
AfterDrew realized all the
harm he caused.Desperately wanted
reconciliation.Unable to
immediately adjust.Patience served as a
virtue.Brotherhood restored
Communicator and Audience
I am the communicator to the audience .
Audience would be my classmates/college students, as well as my college professor.
Topic and Purpose
Topic Brotherhood is very important to me.
Purpose Allow people to reflect on their own relationships. Show the dangers of drugs. Don’t be strangers to loved ones.
Medium and Context

Allowed audience to ease into my shift smoothly.
Personal accounts from myself provides ability for audience to connect.
Comfortable technique.
Description
I used description to give the audience a first hand view.
Provided people who don’t know me with a closer look at my life. Feelings Struggles Outcome
Tone and Diction
Tone Didn’t go overboard. Changed during dialogue. Calm tone to get point across easily.
Diction Rather simple so I could relate to everyone. I chose way this to keep the audience interested.
