As always, it is a pleasure to bring this edition of nurture into your homes and hearts. This month, we focus on alternative aspects of parenting. From the challenge of raising children with disabilities, to the “war” between twins, to the culture- clash of mixed-race families, we focus on “difference”. This, as you know, has always been our aim - the inclusion and unifying of parents from all walks of life, to share their experiences and grow from the knowledge gained. This month, we also place a great deal of emphasis on protection - safety for youngsters at sports venues and how to keep children safe from online predators. Finally, we take a look at “nurturing” in First vs Third World countries - encouraging independence, and the different approaches to “the talk” and the debate of “spare-the-rod- and-spoil-the-child” discipline. Is that enough for you? You want more? Let us know! My industrious staff and I are hard at work to bring you what you want - what you need - from nurture. As always, it is a pleasure to bring this edition of nurture into your homes and hearts. This month, we focus on alternative aspects of parenting. From the challenge of raising children with disabilities, to the “war” between twins, to the culture-clash of mixed-race families, we focus on “difference”.
