• The Mfar Group of Hotels, which has around 700 rooms altogether in India and Oman.
• The Le Meridien Kochi and International Convention Centre, The Westin Chennai are owned by Mfar.
• Invested Rs 1500 crore more in Indian hospitality sector.
• Mfar is associate of Galfar group of companies.
• Both companies are owned by P Mohamed ali, the business tycoon of Oman and India.
• On the investment in Maldives, P Mohamed ali has been quoted by Times of Oman as: "We have appointed KPMG to conduct a study to understand the market and position the resort to cater to the growing and lucrative market. We just received the preliminary report," added P Mohamed Ali.

• Mfar has achieved a green flag of clearance from the environmental department of Maldives.

• P Mohamed Ali on his new project: "We have just acquired an island measuring six hectares in land area, and we have the permission to reclaim land up to 30 hectares. We got the land on a 15-year lease from the government.“
