P-K MACH® condensing boiler models C1500, C2000, C2500, C3000, C4000 include wheels and dollies for easy movement through hallways and doors and around corners.

There’s no rigging required to put your P-K MACH® condensing boiler in any room of your build-ing, whether it’s the basement or the penthouse. All P-K MACH® condensing boilers fit through a standard 36 inch doorway or a standard elevator.

Our largest models (1,500,000 BTU/hr and larger) are equipped with wheels which means they can be moved by two people without a forklift. The narrow design of all P-K MACH® condensing boilers allows them to navigate corners and hallways with ease. P-K MACH® condensing boilers are perfect for new installation and retrofit projects, requiring only 4 hook ups – gas, water, electric and venting.

P-K MACH® condensing boilers are CSA certified at 92% - 96% efficiency, with actual thermal efficiencies up to 99%. This can help qualify for federal, state and utility rebates.

Primary only pump system – Streamline installation by eliminating multiple boiler circulation pumps. This reduces peripheral equipment costs, pipe fittings, motor starter disconnects, etc. Secondary pumps are replaced by control valves. If all boilers in the system are not required for the current load, the control valves will close off the idle boilers ensuring equal flow through the remaining boilers.

Arranging P-K MACH® condensing boilers in a primary only configuration allows a single pump to be used with VFD (variable frequency drive) to reduce the flow rate. This reduces the operating cost of the primary pump significantly by reducing the electrical consumption, increasing your energy savings.

High Efficiency Domestic Hot WaterPair-up for powerful performance.

Harsco Industrial Patterson-Kelley’s P-K MACH® condensing boiler can also be used to produce high efficiency domestic hot water. Pair it up with a P-K DURATION™ condensing indirect water heating system to produce hot water at a steady temperature without the fluctuations normally associated with indirect water heating systems.

The P-K MACH® condensing boilers P-K ENVI® control platform features domestic hot water priority, switching the boiler automatically from comfort heat mode to DHW whenever there is a call for domestic hot water.

Hybrid systems combine P-K MACH® condensing boilers with P-K MODU-FIRE® forced draft boilers to provide the ability to handle a wide variety of temperature ranges and still operate at maximum efficiency. This flexibility is a result of the P-K ENVI® control which is the standard control for both the P-K MACH® condensing and P-K MODU-FIRE® forced draft boiler lines. The P-K ENVI® control allows the hybrid system to operate to an outdoor air reset curve above that of the P-K MACH® boiler alone. The control logic gives first priority to the P-K MACH® condensing boilers for the most efficient operation. The P-K MACH® boiler’s maximum setpoint is 194°F; the P-K MODU-FIRE® forced draft boilers can operate to a maximum setpoint of 240°F so when the heating requirements of the building exceed the capacity of the P-K MACH® boiler, the P-K ENVI® logic enables the P-K MODU-FIRE® forced draft boilers to meet the load. The ability of a hybrid system to handle this wide range of operating temperatures ensures there is always enough heat for the building, regardless of how cold it gets outside.

The P-K ENVI® control is standard across both the P-K MACH® condensing boiler and P-K MODU-FIRE® forced draft non- condensing boiler product lines. The control logic allows cascade of up to 16 boilers, maximizing the efficiency by turning on each of the boilers at a low firing rate. The practical turndown is increased bringing the efficiency of the entire system to the highest level possible. The P-K ENVI® control also enables boiler start rotation spreading the usage evenly between all boilers in the system. The efficiency saves you money; boiler start rotation saves your equipment. The P-K ENVI® control easily interfaces with building management systems (BMS) via the integrated MODBUS® RS-485 protocol or 0-10 vdc analog. BACNet, LONWORKS® and METASYS® N2 are available by adding an optional protocol convertor for even greater application flexibility.

P-K MACH® condensing boilers have 7 models suitable for outdoor use. All boilers from the 300,000 BTU/hr through the 2,000,000 BTU/hr. sizes are available as both indoor and outdoor models. P-K MACH® outdoor boilers are perfect for temperate climate applications and save money by allowing you to use your indoor space for other purposes.

P-K DURATION™ condensing indirect water heating systems are specifically designed to help prevent scaling by operating between 120°F and 140° F. This helps maintain your domestic hot water system at peak performance and protects your condensing boiler from the harsh conditions found in domestic water by isolating the boiler loop from the domestic hot water supply loop.

If space is an issue, bring in the new P-K MACH ‘n’ Roll™. The DHW system is housed in the normally empty space immediately below the boiler providing you with the same high efficiency hot water as our P-K MACH® and P-K DURATION™ condensing indirect water heating system packages. The P-K MACH ‘n’ ROLL™ can be installed on a skid with a pump and a tank or moved into your mechanical room and connected to your existing tank. Save installation and equipment costs.
