Food PAC – your key to foodstuff analysis
Method symbols facilitate orientation.
Food PAC (Food Potentiometric Analysis Collection) presents the titrimetric determination methods most of-ten used in foodstuff analysis. No fewer than 96 meth-ods are described in detail – the descriptions deal with the sample weight, the titrant to be used, the titration procedure and the calculation of the results.
The Food PAC know-how package comprises an application binder with detailed method descriptions, a method memory card, the Metrodoc CD ROM with the Food PAC analysis methods as well as the Metrodata CD ROM.
The procedure could not be simpler. Depending on the type of Metrohm titrator, you have three different pos-sibilities:
• 798 MPT Titrino, 799 GPT Titrino, 785 DMP Titrino and 751 GPD Titrino (with instrument program version 5.751.0020 or higher)
Using the method memory card, you load the Food PAC methods (complete parameter sets including calculations) into your Titrino. You then equip the Titrino with the corresponding accessories (elec-trodes, Exchange Unit), load the desired method into the working memory, prepare the first sample and start the determination by pressing a key. After the sample volume has been entered and the analysis is concluded, the Titrino outputs a complete result report – possibly with titration curve – on the con-nected printer.
• 794 Basic Titrino, 716 DMS Titrino, 736 GP Titrino and 751 GPD Titrino (with instrument program version ear-lier than 5.751.0020)
Using the demo version of Metrodata VESUV 3.0, which forms part of the delivery package, you load the methods into your Titrino with a PC. Then pro-ceed as described above.
• 808, 809, 835 and 836 Titrando
You can easily take over the Titrino parameters into your Titrando by means of the conversion program (method converter) contained in the PC Control soft-ware.
