MDF’s Approach towards Socio Economic Development of Communities

The social mobilization, livelihoods and participatory development for socio economic empowerment of

the communities have been the focus of MDF since its inception – September 21st 2010. The livelihood

opportunities in rural and urban areas need to be created with the paradigm shift because the income

generation activities are not enough keeping in view the growing population in the country. Therefore,

youth income generation through capacity building and linkages development have been in the policy of

MDF. We believe that the social development can be achieved through:

Understanding the Problems and Identifying Opportunities for Social Organization

Mobilizing the Target Communities to Organize in the form of Social Institutions

Capacity Building of Social Institutions and Youth Volunteers to Support Development Cause

Linkages Development with Government Departments and Private Sector for Enhanced Access

Facilitating the Community to Supervise and Monitor Provincial, District and Local
