What are we aiming to achieve?

Support young people to maximise their talents and raise/realise aspirations

Raise the profile to young people on the importance placed on skills, behaviours and attitudes by employers and higher education

Improve the quality of impartial IAG Enhance Careers Education programmes

What are we aiming to achieve?

Attract exhibitors from key industry sectors Provide workforce development activities Positive learner/employer evaluations Establish reputation of Oxford Careers

Festival as a prestigious event Reduce the number of 16-19 NEETs/NiLs City collaborative event further to further

develop the partnership identity

Current situation

Initial agreement and £6,000 secured from City Partnership

Additional £5,000 secured (OCC Connexions & Aimhigher)

Project Group established and OEBP in-kind support of a Project Manager allocated

Kassam Stadium visited and ‘holding’ dates for last week in January 2011
