Discussion: Educational Challenges (in VR)Students

• Young people get hooked to technology

• Educational system not responsive to these changes

• Result? Learning becomes boring and students lose focus

• Without direction, they use tech mostly negatively

Teachers

• Most teachers not up to date on tech trends

• Unable to guide learning in the digital age

• Develop negative attitudes towards tech

• Use power to impede technology rather than enable it

Educational standards in the region have fallen.

Woekpor: Harnessing tech for education• Aim: Maximise the positives, minimise the negatives
