Major Accomplishments • Partnered with 4 churches to develop & conduct

survey to identify research priorities of congregation & community members.

• Clergy & health ministry leaders led data collection • Survey completed by 847 people. • Johns Hopkins researchers presented on the top health

priorities High Blood Pressure, Heart disease, Diabetes, and Asthma.

participate - Did not understand why research was

After meeting, Council decided to focus on educating local residents and patients about the research process
