LEAKITOUT aims to serve as a gateway and stage for the exchange of real time information, created and shared by people on the site. By turning ordinary everyday people into reporters, leakitoutt creates the ability to beat news media outlets to the punch. People become reporters and witnesses. There are no editors other than each visitor commenting on a common event. It forges a link among everyone in the world, every second, every hour and every day.

The body of input which arrives to the site gives visitors and users a 360 degree view of what really happened by allowing multiple parties to report their version of a shared common event, removing the spins competitors portray such as CNN, Fox, TMZ and other media outlets. No governmental agency or editor with a given philosophy can control the views of people. It is news of the people by the people and for the people. We strive to bring all peoples in the world closer together in understanding the truth and addressing local, regional, national, and world-wide issues.

Further, it serves as a focal point for governmental agencies such as FBI, fire, police departments and more to receive input regarding life saving emergencies and critical issues important to their successful operations.
