A message from Laurie Lanovaz, Provincial Commissioner Girl Guide of Canada - Guide du Canada – Saskatchewan Council is honored to present our 2018 Annual Report. Girl Guides of Canada – Guide du Canada - Saskatchewan Provincial Council strives to develop and enhance the supports to engage women and girls to make a difference in their families, communities and in their world. 2018 was a very exciting year as the Girls First Program rolled out in the Fall. Our team of Girl First Champions provided a large province wide Girls First Training which saw over 200 women in attendance. By the end of December 2018, they had already trained 30% of our unit guiders. In the Fall of 2018, we also held a large Girls First Launch Party Rally at Mosaic Stadium to celebrate the new program. Mother Nature failed to damper the positive enthusiasm of the Girls or the Guiders that travelled from across the province. We had over 1000 Girls and Guiders meet in Regina for an afternoon of fun and friendship. Saskatchewan Council would also like to highlight the 6% increase in our membership over the 2018 year! There were several new units started in communities such as Biggar, Clavet, Craik, Delise, Estevan, LaLoche, Regina, and Saskatoon. WOW!! A special thank you goes to the parents and families that support not only their girl member, but the organization. Thank you for entrusting us with your child (or children)! A message from Laurie Lanovaz, Provincial CommissionerGirl Guide of Canada - Guide du Canada – Saskatchewan Council is honored to present our 2018 Annual Report.

Thank you to the Guiders for engaging girls in your local communities. Your enthusiasm and positivity is truly appreciated and your openness to change has been highly valued!

Thank you to the Girls! Continue to bring your voice and choice to the organization!

The 2019 Guiding year will be one of change as I leave the role as PC and Christa Morhart takes on the role. Saskatchewan Guiding is in great hands! It will be of new possibilities and more creative and innovative experiences for girls to raise their voices in their communities both local and globally!
