Simes presents MAY-DAY, a very slim stainless steel dimmable bollard with a 24V LED light source.The top of the bollard is charachterised by a rectangular-shaped polycarbonate opal diffuser which emits a soft light effect.Its minimalist design is further enhanced by the absence of visible screws; it is particularly suitable for signal lighting in residential areas.

NANOLED is a tiny, 24V dimmable LED fitting, presented in three versions: walk-over, wall-recessed and as a down light, all characterised by a stainless steel front ring without any visible screws.The walk-over version comes with a clear diffuser and narrow beam, or opal diffuser and 25° beam. The wall-recessed version has an asymmetric diffuser diverting the light downwards towards the ground.Both versions can be used for signal lighting purposes.The down light version, for more decorative applications, has an opal diffuser that creates suggestive light spots recessed into the ceiling.

BOLLARDS MINICUBIKS is a new, smaller LED bollard which extends the minimalist Cubiks range, maintaining its essential design, robustness and excellent lighting performances. Thanks to a reeded polycarbonate diffuser, the light beam is perfectly uniform even in correspondence to the corners of the bollard.Driven at 700mA and equipped with 4 accent LEDs, this class II luminaire has an energy consumption of only 10W.

LED TUBE is an adjustable modular luminaire specifically designed for grazing effects on façades and window frames. It can be connected to a maximum of 5 fittings in line, allowing for the illumination of very wide surfaces.

LED ROD is versatile and almost invisible, perfect for the illumination of niches and windows.Both luminaires can be cut to size and therefore offer maximum flexibility of application.

MINILIFT LEDWALL EFFECTS MINILIFT LED is the most recently developed fitting of this product range.This class II fitting comes in several versions with 2 or 4 windows, with wide or narrow beams.The aluminium body houses 2 or 4 accent LEDs, one for each window; the narrow beam version houses a methacrylate lense that emits a perfectly designed light beam and suggestive patterns on walls and façades.

STELOBOLLARDS Supplied in 70W metal halide source, STELO is an elegant tall bollard with clean lines specifically suitable for pedestrian areas, town centres and parks.The die-cast and extruded aluminium housing is extremely robust and the policarbonate diffuser is resistant against thermal shock. The LED fittings are supplied with extensive lenses for an even light distribution.

The reinforced polypropylene housing ensures resistance against chlorides and acids.The reduced thickness of the body allows for efficient heat dissipation, while the support ribs improve the mechanical resistance.

The stainless steel 316L front ring not only ensures an efficient protection against water infiltration but also confers a very attractive appearance to the fitting.The support bracket is in stainless steel painted white with a double paint treatment using epoxy and polyester powders.

POOL SPOT

POOL SPOT requires a FLANGE accessory to anchor the fitting to the bottom of pools or fountains. The stainless steel flange is supplied with fastening screws, both for fixing the fitting to the flange and for the anchorage to the bottom of the pool.Should the fixation with screws be impossible, the weight of the accessory still allows to keep the luminaire sitting on the bottom of the pool.

The POOL range is supplied with brass cable glands that guarantee excellent resistance against corrosion, which is an essential characteristic for a submerged fitting.All POOL SPOT versions are supplied with a pre-wired flexible cable in order to facilitate the installation and assure the IP68 protection rating.

The in-ground versions are supplied with polypropylene recessing box.The box is characterized by a housing that keeps the corrugated conduit in position.

The recessing box supplied with the wall recessed versions is 125mm deep, but its depth can be reduced to 95mm for the installation in narrow walls.

The down light versions are supplied with clips for installation in false-ceilings.

NANOLED has been developed from the base of a fast connector.

The front ring and lamp body are cast together as a single piece thus preventing any infiltrations from the top of the fitting.

NANOLED is supplied with a 24V/230mA converter for parallel connection of the fittings: this allows to identify the damaged fitting in case of malfunction.

The electronic circuit is dimmable (with the use of the remote power supply S.3402) thanks to the PWM technology (pulse with modulation) and remote power supply.

The bollard structure and base of MAY-DAY are in AISI 316L stainless steel, characterized by high corrosion resistance.An opal acrylic diffuser does not transmit the light in a uniform way.A clear laser treated acrylic diffuser maintains its clear transparent internal core, and the external finish is laser treated opal thus optimizing the uniform light distribution throughout the complete diffuser.

The acrylic diffuser and polycarbonate body are cast together as a single piece, thus preventing any water infiltrations from the top.

MAY-DAY has been developed on the base of the fast connector on which the LED circuit is installed.

The methacrylate concentrating lens, combined to the narrow beam window, creates perfectly designed blades of light.

In order to obtain a wide beam, just remove the concentrating lens and the and the narrow beam shutter.

MINILIFT LED combines state of the art technology and reduced dimensions (120mm x 120mm x h 130mm) in a class II with a minimalistic design.

Each window houses a 2,5W accent LED installed on a black painted aluminium support, which helps dissipate the heat produced by the LED.

The LED circuit and aluminium profile of the ROTATING LED TUBE and the LED ROD can be easily cut to size.The aluminium profiles can be shortened by using a small hacksaw.The length of the LED circuit can be cut in 10 cm sections or multiples thereof. After snapping the circuit with nippers it is imperative to re-position it in the center of the aluminium profile in order to obtain an optimal lighting effect.Example: in case of a window frame with 87 cm width, the 1 m rod will be cut to 87 cm while the LED strip will be cut to 80 cm (by clipping off the end opposite to the supply cable entry) and re-position the circuit into the center of the rod so to obtain a uniform distribution of light.

The polycarbonate diffuser of the ROTATING LED TUBE is fastened to the aluminium base through a lock mechanism.The surface of the diffuser has a reeded half and a clear half: the diffuser rotates inside the aluminium base, therefore allowing to choose a direct or diffused light distribution.

The transparent silicone cap guarantees an excellent light transmission.

If installed at a distance of 5 cm from the wall, the light distribution of the ROTATING LED TUBE will be uniform, without shadows even in correspondence to the junction between the two fittings.

The connection scheme of the ROTATING LED TUBE through the END CAP accessory: the end cap allows for parallel connection of up to 5 fittings.

The LOFT SPOT supplied with stirrup is adjustable +/- 90° from vertical. It can also be used in garden applications by using the ground stake.

The small dimensions of the LED circuit allow for a significant reduction in size of this fitting which now has a more discreet dimension; all MEGALOFT versions are presented with the new SLIM design.

The asymmetric version is now available also for MEGALOFT SPOT with reduced depth of the fitting.

The tempered front glass diffuser is fixed externally to the fitting through silicon resin, perfectly flush with the front ring. Water and dirt deposits that can disturb the lighting performance of the projector can easily flow away.

The anti-glare shield accessory can be combined to 6° or 16° symmetric versions.
