Perform in front of thousands of cheering fans during the mass band halftime show and parade. Students may also participate in concert band, jazz band and field show competitions, as well as clinics led by nationally-renowned professional educators.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Led by esteemed educator Dr. Richard Miles, this exhilarating performance opportunity putsstudents in the center of a halftime show performance in front of 50,000 cheering fans. The most elite marching bands showcase their skills during this larger than-life performance.

Students march through Tampa’s historic Ybor City. Taking place just hours before the New Year’s countdown, the excitement of thousands of parade viewers is infectious.

Ensembles engage in clinics and competition focused on concert and jazz performances. Bands receive clinics directly following their adjudicated performanes. Marching bands will have the opportunity to perform in the marching band competition; the winning band will receive the honor of performing during the pregame show performance.

Busch Gardens sets the scene for a festive New Year’s cele-bration with dinner, dancing, awards and thrill rides. Students will ring in the New Year with impressive fireworks.
