Entrance Hymn Come let us bow down to Christ, as we worship Him, the Son of God. Save us, O Son of God, Who did rise from the dead, We sing to You: Alleluia.

Resurrectional Apolytikion The angelic powers appeared at Your tomb, The soldiers guarding it became as dead men. And Mary stood at Your grave seeking, Seeking Your most pure Body. But You made hell a captive; You were untouched by its might. You came to the Virgin and granted life. O Lord, Who arose from the dead, Glory to You.

For the Fathers Supremely blessed are you, O Christ our God. You established the holy Fathers upon the earth as beacons, and through them You have guided us all to the true Faith, O greatly merciful One, glory be to You.

Church Hymn Evlogitos i Hriste O Theos imon, O Pansofous tous aliis anadixas, katapempsas aftis to Pnevma to ayion, ke thi afton tin ikoumenin saginefsas, Filanthrope doxa Si.

Blessed are You O Christ our God Who has shown the fishermen as wise men By sending down Your Holy Spirit upon them And through them, the whole world You drew into Your net O Lover of mankind, glory to You.

Kontakion A protection of Christians unshamable, Intercessor to our Holy Maker unwavering. Reject not the prayerful cries of those who are in sin. Instead come to us for you are good; Your loving help bring unto us, Who are crying in faith to you; Hasten now to intercede and speed now to supplicate As a protection for all time, Theotokos, for those who honor you.

EPISTLE READING: St. Paul's Letter to Titus 3:8-15

TITUS, my son, the saying is sure. I desire you to insist on these things, so that those who have be-lieved in God may be careful to apply themselves to good deeds; these are excellent and profitable to men. But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels over the law, for they are unprofitable and futile. As for a man who is factious, after admonishing him once or twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is perverted and sinful; he is self-condemned.

When I send Artemas or Tychicos to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have de-cided to spend the winter there. Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing. And let our people learn to apply themselves to good deeds, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not to be unfruitful.

All who are with me send greeting to you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.

GOSPEL READING: Matthew 5:14-19 The Lord said to his disciples, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heav-en."

THE CONFESSION OF FAITH

(Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed) I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth,

and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God,

begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created,

of one essence with the Father through Whom all things were made.

Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit

and the Virgin Mary and became man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;

And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father;

And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life, Who proceeds from the Father,

Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets.

In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.

Our supplies of Prosforo bread are running low. Experienced prosforo bakers will tell you that

the baker is transformed by the prosforo, and that the effort opens us to God and invites Him to

transform us. Please help us fill our pantry through this beautiful Mystery.

Photo Use

The Stewardship Committee is preparing the 2016 Stewardship campaign which will highlight the

many ministries of our Parish. One format will include photos of our Parish life that we have

and children in the collage as possible. If you prefer not to have your child's photo included in

the printed materials, please contact Sandy Cooper in the Parish Office at (317) 733-3033.
