Port of Oswego Authority Jazz & Blues Park (East Park), Veterans Park (along River Walk West)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

> Alcoholic Beverage: No alcohol may be brought into any Harborfest venue that

has a City of Oswego “open container law”. Please drink responsibly.

> Bicycles, skateboards, drones and pets with the exception of service

animals: are prohibited within ALL Harborfest venues.

> Blankets and Tarps: An evening crew will dispose of items left in the park after

they have closed. The City of Oswego does not allow placement of tarps,

blankets or plastic sheets in city parks for fireworks prior to Saturday at 6 am.

Placement of stakes or rocks to secure these items are prohibited at all times.

> Boat Launches & Docking Restrictions: Please obey boating restrictions on

docking and mooring by the respective waterfront authorities. All vessels

must stay clear of the 1000-foot safety zone around the fireworks area on

Saturday from 7 pm to 10 pm. For docking information call 315-343-8430 or

315-342-8167.

> Emergency Services: In the event of an emergency, please call 911. If you can

not complete a call, locate the nearest Harborfest Information Center or police

officer to report your emergency. First aid services are available in Breitbeck

Park, West and East Parks.

> Lost Child Tags & Lost Children: If you are visiting the festival with young

children, it is a good idea to pick up and fill out a Price Chopper “Lost Kid

Tag”, available at any Information Center. If you cannot locate your child, visit

the nearest Information Center for assistance.

> Parking: All parking regulations are enforced. Unauthorized vehicles in no parking

zones or reserved parking spots will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Children’s Parade: In Breitbeck Park the Exelon Generation Tent will open at 9:00 am with pre-parade activities for both children and adults. The Children’s Parade, sponsored by Oswego Health, will begin at Breitbeck Park Friday morning at 10:30 am. Participants should arrive at 10:15 am at the Pavilion. The parade will travel along Lake Street to West 5th and will conclude in West Park, thus kicking off all activities for the day in the park. Fireworks: Sponsored by Exelon Corporation and Pathfinder Bank, the Fireworks by Grucci will start at 9:30 pm Saturday night. The best viewing areas for the fireworks range from Fort Ontario to the harbor at Breitbeck Park. Spectrum Cable will be broadcasting the fireworks live on Channel 10. The fireworks simulcast will be played on Dinosaur Radio (103.9). Bring your portable radio and listen to the simulcast! T-Shirt Workshops: Partnering with Mireille Watts, CPA, in Breitbeck Park, the workshops will be in the pavilion on Wednesday from 3:00 pm—4:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. In the Novelis Family Park (West Park) t-shirt workshops will be available on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am—4:00 pm.
