Our Plant Engineering departmentOur Plant Engineering department handles all planning work for the plant design, the design of the construction site and the facility under construction, and for the 3D coordination of mechanical, electrical and piping systems. Our core compe-tencies include the development of plant concepts in terms of layout planning, project support during construction and the structural planning of piping systems. We can draw on many years of experience in planning industrial facilities, in particu-lar power generation and distribution plants, and bring this to bear in your projects.
On the basis of the specific designs and preparatory work of the process, mechanical, electrical and I&C engineering de-partments, we develop the basics (layout plans, load data) for the structural planning and the further planning of the various contract lots. 3D coordination of the interfaces between these contract lots is also among our services.
We remain at your side with our vast experience throughout all planning phases of the plant engineering process. We carry out the layout and piping planning independently, right through to detail engineering. When it comes to dealing with complex projects in civil construction planning, we work with competent and reliable partners specializing in this field.
Plant engineering is like a puzzle, and the technical contract lots are the pieces in it. We put these pieces
together effectively, making sure they join up right.
3D plant engineering
On account of the short planning periods usually scheduled nowadays, fragmented project landscapes (partial lots with their own planning services) and at times complex reconstruction measures in existing facilities (mostly with insufficient as-built documentation), 3D planning is indispensable for complex industrial plants. In addition, 3D planning models are usually
used on the construction site in order to ensure a complete overview of the planning at all times. We meet this challenge by using appropriate software, enabling us to provide you with corresponding 3D plans. For existing systems, external 3D laser scans are also integrated into this planning, providing additional certainty for future planning.
