Organising a funeral can be extremely traumatic. Where do you start? Who do you call? It is the last thing a grieving loved one needs at such an emotional time in their lives.

It would give great peace of mind to know that your final preparations are already pre-planned, alleviating this burden in the future.

them to be part of the process with you, be clear on your final decisions.

Then contact our friendly staff to schedule an appointment to discuss your options. Would you prefer to be buried, cremated or interred into our mausoleum? How and where would you like to be memorialised? These are all questions that we can assist you with finding the right answer to.

Losing a loved one is such a difficult time of mourning, without adding the stress of finding the required funds to ensure they are laid to rest in their preferred final resting place.

At Geelong Cemeteries Trust we are pleased to offer flexible payment options to our clients, their families and the community. Payments can be made in monthly instalments (over a period of up to two years) to alleviate the one off financial burden that is felt by some families.

We do not charge any fees to enter into a flexible payment agreement and guarantee the prices for the period of the agreement. The following range of products and services are available within a flexible payment agreement:

• Graves, mausoleum and memorialpositions (pre-purchase)

• Interment and cremation fees(pre-purchase)

• Plaques (ordered when paid in full)

Our Chapel is situated amongst the beautifully landscaped native gardens of Geelong Memorial Park. It’s facade and interior compliment traditional and contemporary style and is suitable for both religious and non-religious services. It can comfortably seat 80

people and is a lovely location to reflect on the life of a loved one. The chapel offers the facility to enable non-intrusive live global streaming web casts of funerals to loved ones who are not able to make the memorial service.

A memorial is a symbolic place shared with family, friends and future generations. Our cemeteries offer a wide range of tranquil memorial options especially set aside for your loved ones, providing a place for personal reflection

and commemoration. Our bench seats are positioned with care throughout our cemeteries and can be purchased as a memorial, they offer a special place to sit and reflect.

There are many different types of gardens within our cemeteries. Our shrub gardens provide landscaped design, offering a large range of native plants and shrubs. While our rose gardens offer a more traditional, elegant setting for your memorial.

Our Moonah Memorial Walk at the Queenscliff Cemetery, Point Lonsdale, offers a sensitive design incorporating sweeping paths created from crushed local limestone.

The mature Coastal Moonah Woodland provides a unique, serene, natural setting for traditional natural burials and for cremation memorials.

Families can choose to create their own personalised garden, designed with our experienced staff, enabling you to create a unique memorial space. Here native shrubs and ornamental trees can be chosen, along with the addition of garden ornaments or boulder memorials. A family garden will allow for as many positions as is required.

are surrounded by beautiful gardens and walkways. The interiors are elegantly finished to an award winning architects design utilising the highest quality materials.

What is an Interment?An interment is the way in which you will be placed to rest. From a traditional lawn grave with a headstone, to the more decorative structures such as our stunningly finished mausolea, concrete lined graves and monument graves, these are the options you have to choose from when discussing your interment with our friendly staff.

Our lawn graves are placed amongst pristine, landscaped gardens within our cemeteries. They offer plaque, headstone and freestyle headstone memorials, all of which can be

designed to offer an expressive, lasting commemoration. Our staff can discuss all options and can offer experienced advice assisting you in making an informed decision.

An inscription within the Book of Remembrance offers a very personal tribute to your loved one. Each memorial entry is hand-inscribed by a skilled artist in the style of illuminated

medieval manuscripts. The book is of the finest parchment and leather and is mounted in its own cabinet. It is on display for viewing at the Geelong Memorial Park Chapel.

We offer a wide range of memorial plaques, urns and jewellery that can be placed when purchasing a memorial location. Our plaque choices include granite, bronze and glass and can be personalised to include options such as photographs and emblems.

Our extensive range of urns include stunning decorative styling and are created from brass, timber or glass. We also offer biodegradable options, our friendly staff can assist you with your choices. These items may also be purchased from alternative suppliers.
