The printing industry has relied on Kocher+Beck’s premium products for de-cades. Today, the company is considered a world market leader in rotary die cutting technology and a recognized systems provider for the label printing, envelope manufacture, sheet-fed and web-fed printing industries.
In the early 80s, company founder Rolf Beck set a milestone for the entire industry with the invention of magnetic die cutting technology.

This pioneering spirit has been part of our DNA ever since we were founded over 50 years ago. As a result, our research and development department keeps deli-vering one innovation after another. The GapMaster, another Kocher+Beck inven-tion, has become the world‘s leader for adjustable anvil systems.
Today, our wide product range covers three main areas: tooling, printing and winding technology. Our portfolio includes high-precision flexible dies and ma-gnetic cylinders, machine-sharpened cutting cylinders, precise printing cylinders and hot stamping cylinders. We also produce sophisticated pressure measure-ment systems, TecScreen screen printing plates and innovative splicers.
Our aim is to provide the products and resources you need to make your produc-tion more efficient and your business more competitive. OUR LOCATIONS
GERMANYOur headquarters is based in the town of Pliezhausennear Stuttgart in south-west Germany. Here, around 300 people work in two plants, producing tools for the most de-manding needs. Our company has enjoyed constant growth ever since its foundation in 1965, and the site in Pliezhausen has grown with us. Our automatic UR Precision splicers have been a great success in the market since we launched them in 2010, experiencing signifi cant growth year after year.
USAKocher+Beck USA opened a Sales Offi ce in 1999, followed by a production facility in Shawnee, Kansas in 2001. The company quickly grew to 50 employees. In 2005 a new facility in Lenexa, Kansas was built to meet the needs of both North and South America. In 2008 Kocher+Beck USA bought a competitor, expanding its product line. In 2016 the Lenexa facility was ex-panded to 56,000 sq. ft, and both US production sites combi-ned. Today Kocher+Beck has over 100 employees committed to offering the highest level of customer support and quality products within the industry.
UKIn 1994 Kocher+Beck decided to set up their fi rst overseas sales offi ce in the United Kingdom. This quickly became a small production facility offering flexible dies to the label and envelope markets. In 2001, the company outgrew its location and moved to a purpose-built factory. In 2017, an ambitious extension and renovation of the site commenced and now completed offers a world class manufacturing facility. The improvements in our facilities will provide clients with the technical support and quality tools required in today’s market, while ensuring employees receive all the latest training and support that is at the core of every Kocher+Beck company. An ISO9001 registered company Kocher+Beck UK Ltd puts quality fi rst.
RUSSIAThe Russian branch of Kocher+Beck was opened in 2006 in Moscow District, Podolsk. The company specialized in cut-ting dies technology and targeted the market of The Russian Federation and Eurasian Customs Union. In 2009 we started a production of Hot Stamping Cylinders. Over the years, we multiplied our orders amount and in 2016 we increased our facility area by 5,365 sq. ft. In 2017 we started production of Inline Offset Cutting dies and opened a storage room for rotary screens TecScreen. We are a dynamically developing company, aimed at quality and giving our customers the best service.

Kocher+Beck’s Tooling division encom-passes magnetic die cutting technology, engraved cutting cylinders, envelope techno-logy, Inline Offset Cutting (IOC), GapMaster and pressure measurement systems. Ko-cher+Beck was the fi rst company to manu-facture magnetic die cutting technology and developed it to mass production.
We made a name for ourselves worldwide with high-quality magnetic flexible dies in a variety of designs, matching magnetic cylin-ders and custom-made cutting stations.

Kocher+Beck’s Printing division compri-ses TecScreen, hot stamping cylinders and printing cylinders. Our TecScreen screen printing plates are manufactured at our headquarters in Pliezhausen and are available for all conventional machine types.

CROSS-CUTTING CYLINDER
Our cross-cutters are available for all standard machine types. The clamping strips and counter clamps ensure that blades are fi xed securely.
