The Straetmans High TAC GmbH was founded on December 29 in 2003. Nevertheless, we can look back on over 45 years of history. The High TAC has its focus on Technical Additives & Chemicals and started as a spin off from Dr. Straetmans Chemische Produkte GmbH which innovated the cosmetic industry (today Evonik Dr. Straetmans GmbH).

•Over the decades, the company has been successful in a wide variety of industries and fields of application. By dividing up, the High TAC concentrates again on the former core business of technical applications.

•We produce at a toll manufacturer the URSA-Chemie GmbH. They are a strong and reliable partner for us since our foundation.

•The competences of the High TAC consist primarily in preservation and corrosion protection. Our main business is the metal working fluid industry and the paint & coating industry.

•We focus on research and development of innovative products for our customers. We offer testing support to proof their performance.

•Together we face the challenges of the future, such as GHS, VOC, biocidal regulations or REACH to develop better products.

About us

TACorr G50 is a multi-metal corrosion inhibitor with a polymer backbone. This helps to seal the surface, protects the substrate through its wetting abilities and multi-metal protective properties. TACorr G50 was originally designed to protect non-iron alloys, but it harmonizes with anti corrosion pigments or our flash rust inhibitor line flashproTAC in a synergistic way.

For water borne applications we suggest to use the TACorr G50-50, TACorr MSM or TACorr MSW which can easily be dissolved in a polar neutral to alkaline medium. TACorr MSW is a new polymer formulation for multi metal long term inhibition, which gets excellent results with flashproTAC F2M in coating systems.

For unpolar systems or solvent based coatings we suggest using TACorr G50 S.

The TACorr product line offers a new way of corrosion protection.

Beside anti corrosion pigments and flash rust inhibitors you get an additional tool for long lasting protection.

Only in low dosages the common FRI´s are performing well, but if more anti flash rust protection is needed you will discover the advantages of flashproTAC F2M.

This flash rust inhibitor supports additionally the long term corrosion pro- tection of the coating.

For sure not all products fit into all systems, but sometimes it needs only a little effort to get it work. We support you in formulating and prove the per-formance through testing. We can offer space in our corrosion chambers.

PT 6 / in can preservation

ES-OPM is a novel preservative formulation, effective both as bacteri-cide and fungicide. Compared to many biocides it is chemically stable.

It offers a good toxicology and is not subject to EU H208 labeling, like isothiazolinones.
