FIRST DAY: SUNDAY- We took a taxi from Troyes to

Paris airport, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.

- We were able to enter thecockpick because the pilot was

one of the pupils’ father!

- We arrived in Warsaw around 6 pm.

- We had to wait in the shopping mall next to the train station to take the train to Wloclawek at 11:30 pm!

- At 2 am, we finally arrived in Hotel Victoria in Wloclawek!

In the morning:

A coach picked us up near the hotel to drive us to the school in Smolnik. We visited the school where there are classes for pupils from kindergarden, primary school and secondary school. This school is really beautiful!

Then we had a tasty coffe break. Later we watched a very nice show made by the very talented pupils.

We also met the comenius group from Poland.In the afternoon:We visited the traditional China factory in Wlocalwek.

Then we went back to school where we learnt different traditional dances from the different countries. We did a Celtic dance from Britanny. It was a nice and tiring activity!Finally, we had a very nice buffet!

TUESDAY

In the morning:>We observe a Polish lesson, where the pupils actually acted an extract from a play. They wore costumes. Later, they studied the text..>Coffee break>We had craft workshops to learn how to do the paintings in the style of the China factory. We also learnt how to create flowers with nice colored paper.In the afternoon:-Aleksandra, the Polish teacher, and Marzenna, the headmistress, showed us round Wloclawek. We also visited the townhall and met the mayor. -Later, back at school, pupils played hockey, and teachers discussed the project. -Then there was a big fire outside, and we grilled sausages on wooden sticks. It was awesome! Later, we all sang songs from our countries. We sang: "Cendrillon" by Téléphone, « Santiano », « une souris verte », and« Savez-vous planter les choux?« with the choregraphy !All our partners are very nice singers. WEDNESDAY

-We had a 2 hours guided tour in Warsaw. It was very interesting. We saw the Chopin museum, and the museum of the Uprising in Warsaw during WWII. It was very moving, because we also saw a film showing the total destruction of the city in 1945.

-We then had some freetime in the mall, and we also had lunch there.

THURSDAY

- We visited a horse farm. Then we went to another farm, where we had sausages grilled

on a fire again! (We loved that!)

- Then we had an orientation race around the school. Our team won!

-Cooking: we made a salade Niçoise with tapenade on toasts. We tasted all the other

salad and it was very tasty and nice.- We danced again!

-We had dinner! Thanks a lot to the wonderful Polish chefs!

FRIDAY Visit of the CoppernicusMuseum in Torun. We made gingerbread! We visited Torun with a guide. Swimming-pool, jacuzzi,

hammam, sauna… AWESOME !!
