This new product is a combina-tion of existing Cue Dee solutions

and new design.

IT IS BASED ON THE AIR ANTENNA SUP-PORT concept, using standard clamps and combined with a very ingenious center piece where the antenna azimuth can be set in an interval of +/- 60 degrees. A special rigging screw is used for fine-tuning.

HIGH PRECISION MANUFACTURING“The center piece is manufactured from four individual aluminium parts,” R&D Manager J-O Hemmervall explains.” They are water cut for high precision and we have also designed them so that the pieces in-terlock with each other, minimizing the number of screws needed.”

WHY CHOOSEALUMINUM?

Aluminum is easy to form and the final products have low weight, high strength, high surface finish, and a

high corrosion resistance.

The tooling costs are reasonable, the technical limitations are few, and the

possibilities are almost endless.

There are major ad-vantages for tower companies and tower owners to placing several antennas on the same tower, preferably with multiple antennas attached to the same bracket. The Cue Dee 3-sector frame is specially designed for this need.

HOLDS UP TOTHREE PANEL ANTENNASThe 3-sector frame is an antenna frame de-signed with today’s increasingly common lea-sing of tower capacity in mind. The frame is specially designed for site sharing and allows up to three operators to mount their antennas simultaneously, thereby achieving identical geographic coverage.

When tower companies and operators install multiple RF antennas on the same site, the 3-sector frame also effectively allows diffe-rent types of antennas at the same height. To simplify things even further, the 3-sector frame can also be mounted on any type of frame leg.

ALUMINUM PROVIDES A LIGHT WEIGHT SOLUTIONThe 3-sector frame is light. Made of alumi-

num, it weighs just a fraction of the weight of similar solutions made from galvani-zed steel. This light and flexible solution is easy to install and

does not require rein-forcing the tower as you

lease out more space. It also comes preassembled for

fast and easy installation.

When comparing solutions, the math is easy. The 3-sector frame weighs in at 34 kg (75 lb), while a galvanized steel frame normally weighs around 200 kg (440 lb). By choosing the 3-sec-tor frame, you reduce the combined weight by about 500 kg (1,100 lb) at every level of the tower.

A FLEXIBLE SOLUTION ATTRACTING GLO-BAL INTEREST The first 3-sector frames have already been installed on a trial basis in Ghana with great success, and more installations are on the way. Asia, Europe, and several parts of the US are also showing interest in the solution.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Universal clamp kit in 2 levels with space for 3 mounting tubes. Typical for installation of panel antennas, radio links, or other common telecom equipment. When using a 1 meter mounting tube, the antenna support can compensate for a 3˚ inclination of the frame leg. The support also allows for +/- 60° azimuth adjustment.
